Precise BioMatch Embedded deployed in biometric payment card market trial in the USA

Press release published on January 15, 2018
Precise Biometrics’ algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in smart cards, Precise BioMatch Embedded, has through the cooperation with Fingerprint Cards been deployed in the first market trial of dual-interface biometric payment cards in the USA, which is carried out by Visa and Mountain America Credit Union.

The payment card, which can be used for contact and contactless payments (dual-interface), improves the convenience for consumers as there is no need to remember PIN codes to authenticate payments. The authentication is done by placing the finger on the card, making it easier and faster to make payments, benefitting both retailers and consumers. The biometric card can be used in the existing retail infrastructure. The card will be tested among US customers, commencing early 2018 to assess the cardholder experience and the technology of the biometric cards in different retail environments.

“I am pleased that we are part of the first US market trials for biometric dual-interface payment cards from a global provider of payments solutions. The interest in biometric payment cards is high and Precise Biometrics is at the forefront of this area”, said Torgny Hellström, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Precise Biometrics.

Hi Sambolaf

I guess you meen the level is 227.23 wich is 161.8 percent of wave 1.

It´s most common that wave 3 will be extended and to be an extended wave, it has to become 161,8 percent of wave 1.

But it could aslo become 200 percent of wave 1 also, to early to tell.
Smabolaf
@FinanceHulligan,

Could insted be a prolonged (2) before we get to draw (3). Do you have a chart of that scenario?
FinanceHulligan
@Smabolaf, can you please publish a wave-count of what you mean?

I do not do other people's analyzes.

Wave 2 is according to my wave-count over. Wave 2 is already very steep since it is approx. 89% of wave 1.

It will probably get up to 40-44 as a start, yet a very small rebound.
Smabolaf
@FinanceHulligan,

My concern is that (2) is not ready. The earnings are in a ongoing steep decline. There are signs that Fingerprint could ba a turn around case, but near future (q1-q2) looks bearish. So why not have a second scenario well below 16,5 krona?

Perhaps also take in acount that before (3) starts there could be a sideway trend.
FinanceHulligan
@Smabolaf, no that´s wrong. Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 174.7 M (134.5) during q3 and the the Group's disposable cash and cash equivalents totaled rose to
SEK 1,011.2 M (931.7). Most likley we will se a rebound in price. Sideway with such volatility is highly unlikely. Did you have any alternative wave-count or not?
Smabolaf
@FinanceHulligan,

If we include figures why not include the important ones.

Operating profit q3 17, 52,4 million. Q3 16, 764.5 million. Revenues down 55 percent. Gross margin 33 percent (49).
