Open Close Cross Strategy NoRepaint Version by JustUncleL

Bitcoin / TetherUSBinance

Description

This is a Non Repaint version of my ever popular "Open Close Cross Strategy R5 revised by JustUncleL". After many comments/PMs on repainting issues of the original script, I decided to create this Non Repaint version for those that require non-repainting signals. Backtesting performance will not be as good as the repaint version, but some script maybe still useful as there are many options that can be adjusted.

Very good strategy...I have few questions if I may:
- what is the logic behind this strategy, could you please briefly explain?
- the repainting version gives of course better results: the question is, how "dangerous" is to use it? did you try it yourself? the "real" results are much different from the back-tested ones?
Many Thanks

I found Revision 5 gives me much better results, more than 10x improvement over 6 version

Update: it seems related to the repainting

@sevendays, Same here. Revision 6 seems all over the place unless you activate (Recalculation: After order is filled)
The problem is when you enable that on low timeframes (which is what I am wanting to use) it will often open a LONG and instantly CLOSE it.
This makes it unusable with alerts because Tradingview can't seem to handle two alerts instantly sending. If only there was a way to always wait +1 or +2 seconds calling strategy.close() from the last entered long position datetime or something?
