You can set up multiple parameter for both events. Volume Impulse :
Volume Period : Lenght of the average volume calculated.
Volume Multiplier : Factor to compare actual volume with average volume.
Engulfing Pattern :
VS avg body : Let you chose to compare body candle to average body of the last few candles (define with parameter : lenghtSizeAvgBody), otherwise it will be compared to the last body candle.
Engulfing Multiplier : Factor to compare and validate the pattern.
Hi, i had started testing script, really interesting and it is helping me a lot to hold positions in lower time frame. i had configured alerts, but alerts are not triggering. Could you please help me out alerts.

@Chandana22, Hey, thank you for your message! Alerts are only set up for engulfing pattern but I will surely add it for the volume impulse too! If you want to set it up for engulfing, create an alert on the pair wanted, with condition: "Candlestick Patterns & Volume Signal - Fontiramisu" --> "Engulfing – Bearish" or "Engulfing – Bullish"
If you already configured it well, I check this out in the code.

Is there any possiblities to work on screen for this feature, Multiple stocks can be viewed in different timeframes in screen, so that it will be easy to figureout which stock is doing well in different timeframes.

Good indicator. But why no alerts for Volume Impulse spikes? Could really be helpful for some of these slow moving instruments (that I sometimes trade in the evenings -- when they're even slower moving). Thx.

I have a question, for some reason every time I try to add the Engulfing Bearish/Bullish indicator onto my chart, it never shows up. It shows on the left side on the screen under my indicators that I have it on my chart but as far as the actual indicator on my charts it's not showing up at all. I've tried multiple forex pairs and even tried logging out and logging in and it's still not working. Any insight as to what the issue could be?

@ErikTrill7, Hey, did you try on btc/usdt pair for example ? The indicator is based on volume, sometime it messes up on some pairs.
