World Markets Open/Close Background

goofoffgoose Mis à jour
Indicator fills background color on the chart for different markets around the world.
This can be helpful in some markets to understand after hours and premarket price action. User can study if there is correlation between highs/low in whole session or open/close of different markets.

Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai are Asian Markets in Red are combined
Bombay, London and NYSE are individually plotted.

Times can be changed for each session to include the entire session, or selected block of 15 minutes.
Less than 15 minutes will need to be changed in the default value of the code which is why I'm publishing it open source.
All coded default times for each market are in CST.
Background color can be turned off individually under the Style tab, and can also be unchecked under Inputs and can just be used for source for further coding.

My intentions for this script is to use it and its variable value to plot the highs and lows just in the specific times in a session and to more easily visualize those sessions with color coding.
I hope this is useful

Cheers!

indicator fills background on the chart for different markets around the world.
Times can be changed for each session to include the entire session or a specific time.
Sessions are default to be displayed on the 1 hour chart. All default times for each market are in CST.
Background color can be turned off or changed and this can just be used for source.

***Fixed the Time zone issue. The default timeframe of sessions should update to the users current time zone set on the platform.
Although times will still need to be adjusted for DST.

***Cleaned up the code and menu layout to be more User/Coder friendly.

***Added option to color background for a lookahead period in minutes. The default is false with lookahead set for 1 day (1380 mins)
with times set on the hourly chart. To use this on the hourly chart for a Globex session, change the look ahead mins to 1379.
This code is however intended for a chart in minute(s). Manually input open/close times to whatever you wish.
Selecting "Future Sessions" can take a moment to load on the 1 min and under chart.

****PLEASE NOTE*** "Future Sessions" is VERY picky on the 1 hour chart. Selected times HAVE TO BE at least 1 hour and sometimes even
ON THE HOUR. Change "Future Sessions" INPUT to 1379(mins) for an hourly chart otherwise it may not show the first selected session
It will take increments sometimes, and other times it just won't. Please don't ask me to fix this, believe me I have tried.

Any questions or input, feel free to message me.

Cheers!!
