@majakosky, hi, because it's repainting, what it means google 'repainting pinescript', in other words, in real world it'll behave differently, then in backtesting history it's gonna show different entry/exit. good luck

@kaka900, No, this strategy doesn't repaint. It's based on momentum triggered by moving average, and once that trigger occurs, the trade is set and doesn't redo itself. Where is your evidence that it repaints?

This is fantastic. I’m such a newb, I don’t even know how to copy it. But I’m guess8ng it’s pro because. I’m on my iPad. I will be digging into this. Wondered if 8 could basically rewrite/copy this and apply it on TOS..

UPDATE: I performed a number of backtests on this strategy both in-sample and out of sample using TV bar magnifier; the initially super positive results were drastically reduced with the magnifier on, so a simple unfiltered back test doesn't present accurate real world results. However, there's still some potential here and I'm grateful to the author for sharing it.

This gives hell lot of frequent entries and exits. It throws the ma_up and ma_down on every bar. Once its. up it should not throw that again and again.
