This is a very basic strategy implementation
Use as a code stub for your strategy code. I wrote it because I could not find one.
This particular strategy goes long on Tuesdays at 10 am and goes short at 3 pm on Thursdays.
Because US markets open at 9:30 you have to have your chart in 30 minute or less resolution for trades to fire.
You can gut that code...
This strategy work good with long term ?
but only can check this in 9 month's
i am still working to see if it really works on 10 year data ( actually i still do not know how to do that in this site any idea ?)
and increase the trade number
Here's the last version...quick hack job.
I'm sure it can be improved, but this is a rough sketch, code wise.
The strategy works in range bound enviroments, so cointegrated pairs like AUDCAD will shine with it.
