Just like what I told everyone in my previous BTC forecast two days ago, Bitcoin is not going to $8,800 without a proper correction. Those who are sensible enough to heed my forecast now holds the buying power over frustrated hodlers. After all, cash is king when a dip is in play.

Here is how we trade Bitcoin over the short term.

Buy: As close to $7,600 as possible.

Target: $8,000 - $8,400

Stop: $7,550

In case some of you wonder why I target X instead of $8,800 even though I am expecting an obvious breakout from the flag, hear me out... "For the last time, we are not going to $8,800 or higher without completing the XYZ correction. I expect that X to be a classic bull trap or a double top at most."

Trade fermée: ordre d’arrêt atteint

Though our stop is triggered, we might consider re-entering this trade if price were to bounce back up from here with a lower high above 7700. We will wait for that signal for re-entry. Otherwise, if price continues to fall, then it will reach our anticipated checkpoint around 7300, as explained in my previous forecast.

Here is today's analysis update on Bitcoin. Kindly note that this update was posted in my Discord channel much earlier so the chart may not reflect the current price. Nevertheless, this analysis update is still valid.


If the above chart plays out, then W could be somewhere in the range of 7290-7415. If it holds, we can expect a relief rally going back up to the X level ranging from 8100-8300. Alternatively, a breach below W could potentially bring us down to 6800-7000. Price reaching 6800 will fulfill another checkpoint in my BTC Q3 Trading Guide.
