BTC Support/Resistance Undecided at 57k - Watching Closely

Thoughts on BTC, personally thought it was going to be lower over the last week or so but it's holding around the 57k range. I believe it's coiling up to make a move but uncertain of the direction. There was a cup formation that failed March 13 then the handle formed and failed afterwards. Safe to say the handle never formed. Hard to tell if this is a sign BTC can't push through new highs or if a sideways base is forming and taking time to consolidate. Watching close around the 57k range which is undecided at the moment if support or resistance. My trading rules are wait for direction to be identified along with a follow-through day prior to entering a position. The level which BTC is sitting idle makes me think it's going to pop and move fast. Direction undecided, your thoughts.
