Dollar is showing more signs of weakness, volatility increasing there as well. Overall market volatility on the rise due most likely to automated trading.
It makes perfect sense that automated trading would exacerbate either periods of low volatility or high volatility. We saw this before the crash wheere volatility reached an all time low. And once it started picking up, it self amplified itself to what will most likely end up being a complete collapse.
I foresee trading bots becoming much more regulated in the future. Just like how we started controlling leverage after 2008.
Id expect it only to get worse. Extreme bowts of volatility ahead
