DOT. Still...?

My attitude towards Polkadot is neutral. I just don’t understand where to use it and whether it makes sense. There was a lot of noise, capitalization caught up with a multi-billion $, but is it justified...? So far, it's hard to say, at first glance, no. The only thing that comes to mind is a tweet from Polkadot's official twitter that they are not a security. It seems that Gavin Wood himself wrote it in ecstasy.
