Monday- FED speakers Bullard 8:30am Logan 9am Bostic and Barkin 10:50am
Tuesday- Building permits 8am, fed Logan speaks 9am, flash manufacturing PMI 9:45am, new home sales 10am, 2-year auction 1pm. Also euro PMI throughout the day mainly pre-market
Wednesday- Treasury Secretary Yellen speaks 10:05am, Crude oil inventories 10:30am, 5-year note auction 1pm, FOMC meeting minutes from April 12th 2pm.
Thursday- 8:30am prelim GDP QoQ, unemployment claims, pending home sales 10am, Fed Collins 10:30am, 7-year note auction 1pm, Fed balance sheet 4:30pm
Friday- 8:30am Core PCE price index MoM, Core Durable Goods, goods trade balance, personal spending, US retail inventories excluding auto, there’s a lot of data pre-market. Michigan consumer sentiment 10am
Another busy week in the market make sure you know what’s happening in order not to get caught in a moment of surprise. A lot of people had no idea last Friday that Powell was talking. Wednesday Thursday and Friday have a ton of events. Keep your head focused on what you’re doing these days there’s to much multitasking not enough focus. If your goal is to trade like a professional and be a consistent winner, then you must start from the premise that the solutions are in your mind and not in the market. Mark Douglas. It’s like I say when you have two fighters with the same height, weight, reach, record, they are identical in everything. Who will win the fight? The one with the strongest heart and mind.
