Additionally, escalating concerns over US President Donald Trump's tariff threats further enhanced the allure of the precious metal, which hovers around $2,925—just shy of its record peak of $2,942, set on February 11.

As of the latest update, President Trump has officially signed the reciprocal tariff order, declaring, "Whatever they charge us, we will charge them." He emphasized that no tariffs would apply to goods produced domestically and hinted at impending tariffs on automobiles, alongside those already imposed on steel and aluminum.
