Gold super cycle
Don't worry about any short term up or down in the gold price.

See the chart of gold starting from 1971 and the pattern is very obvious.
Just buy and hold it for a few years.

Don't try to time the market. One characteristic of gold is if it goes up, it goes up really fast. Back in 1980, when gold peaked, it went up 30% in 15 days.
