A company may not have much sway on who's in charge of a country but it can easily see its fortunes altered with a change in public policy. So we've put together this list of hand-picked companies that are relatively more vulnerable to political policy and government action than others.
The selection is based on companies in sectors where government policy can change quickly, for example: efforts to reduce carbon emissions in the energy sector, or housebuilding targets. We've also included some businesses impacted by government spending on education, crime, healthcare and policing. This is just a list, it's not financial advice and you should always do your own research with the Economic calendar and other analytical tools.
