HOW TO TRADE LIKE THEM POSITION TRADING Strategy that works
Alright I’ll give you this method that works well. Simple and easy with no deep skills required just the basics of Price action.
Now this requires patience on major and minor cuz they don’t move but on exotic you can find trades setups all day.
So if you don’t know what position trading is. IMO it’s one of the better ways to trade , but you can check that out but basically you trade with the intent to ride the main trend and the main trend lasts months so your goal is to continuously profit from the market day and night..
Here’s my tools
Linear regression
Look for a pair that is outside the weekly or monthly channel or close to it
Volume profile
Look for low volume at the price level and see how far that zone is ex the profile separate price into low and high vol.
Lsma
Look for this to be over price or under if the chart is in a downtrend
Mwvap
You want this far from price showing that price is too expensive or too cheap
Stochastic Momentum indicators
You want to see overbrought or sold
Rsi
You want to see overbrought or sold
With both of the above you want to wait until they turn out the extreme and starts moving downwards
Price action confirmations and tips
You want to see a double top or bottom
Tip preferred to look for charts at the high cus it’s easy on price to drop levels over topping levels thus it’s required less work which mean more profit potential.
Once all align take the trade small size small sl and ride it to the mwvap. And some times you may even luck up and catch a whole reversal
