It never ceases to amaze me when I read OG's in markets babble about the great strength of the US Dollar ..
Sure, reserve currency of the world and demand due to outstanding debts, blah blah blah ..
Now, looking at this chart, I'll have to say this: It seems extremely likely that the dollar will bounce up from here. Bounce how high? Honestly, I don't know but ~ 96 will likely act as resistance.
Long term I cannot come up with any case that supports the idea that the US Dollar will retain any kind of value ..
It's a fiat currency. A scam. Destined to become worthless.
I get the idea that it's better than it's competitors like the Yen or the Euro .. but they all have one thing in common which is that they're going to zero.
So there's that.
Gold, Silver, Bitcoin, Real Estate .. real world value. Long the fxck out of all of that stuff. Just Say No to fiat.
