PEP PepsiCo Options Ahead Of Earnings

If you haven`t bought PEP here:

Then analyzing the options chain of PEP PepsiCo prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 185usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2023-5-19
for a premium of approximately $3.60.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them, I expect a retracement afterwards.

I am interested to hear your thoughts on this strategy.

PEP reached $190 after the earnings report. Calls trading now at $5.50 from $3.60, so a 55% gain, one day after. but it was more than 2X higher when PEP was at $190.
