I have known many people and so-called friends contacted me and ask about Crypto and Bitcoin in late 2017. Similarly, some of them contacted me on June 2019 when Bitcoin hit 14k.
And all of them are missing in action now. They have ZERO interest to learn about Bitcoin and Crypto and they don't even know defi exist.
Before this, my mindset was, I need to "help" all these people. I created a Facebook page and give tips on the financial market. That doesn't pan out well. I received a lot of hates and attacks from some unknown figures, most probably whales that don't like people to educate the retails and masses. And plus, only 1% of my targeted audiences care or even willing to work hard to learn and figure out. Most are lazy and don't care.
I tried to explain how Bitcoin and Crypto is the next evolution in tech and why this is akin to to the internet in the 80's and 90's. And most of these people don't even know Oracle, Netscape exist. They only care about being consumer, not investor.
Then, I gave up.
I believe that S-Curve and exponential move, most people will be the laggard, there will be few early adopters, pioneers, innovators, and most will come at later stage.
Most people will NOT BENEFIT form the rise of this new technology, just as most people didn't own Microsoft or Intel in the 80's and didn't own Amazon or Apple shares 10 years ago.
That is the sad reality. Sad reality.
I have decided that the best thing I can do is to make most of the money on my own, and use my wealth to contribute and give back to the society. And most people may benefit more from getting job opportunities, versus learning how to trade and invest.
We are still at the early stage of the next wave. There is very small reasons for Bitcoin and Crypto to go down from now. The market breadth itself is already bullish. Quantitative easing has been going on forever. Its time to buckle up and get ready for the next big wave.
Regards.
