As far as long term, amazon is great, because over the history of the company it has experienced these discouraging events, but it recovers from them and continues on it's natural upward trend. It's recent stumble was existent due to unfortunate political events, but the company alone is doing perfectly well, being in the process of monopolizing the online retail space.
