Dollar Index and PCE core

I just wanted us to visualize where Core PCE—the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation—stands, along with the dollar’s situation. It’s not that the dollar is losing its reserve currency status; rather, it’s domestic issues that are driving its decline against other assets. We need to look at the relationship between the spot rate and PCE to anticipate how money market funds will move.
