So I recently bought FB stocks. Usually I am a value investors. Let me clarify, I purchased and still own two different bank stocks that are/were from my current and former employer. The rest of my investments are in vanguard index funds and mutual funds. FB was the first stock I bought since learning and reading about CANSLIM and the IBD newspaper. Here are the reasons I picked FB. Current earnings and previous earnings were positive and growing. Prospects for future growth is more likely as FB is finding new ways to create revenue and engage their existing members. Also FB is unique in that people are able to connect on a personal and business level compare to its competitors such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
