I have been an massive ALT bear ever since June this year. I think for a lot of them, the bottoms are STILL not in.
One of my best trades this year was my 'It's a fact' trade where I made over 350% returns on Factom going to the moon in a matter of months. Since then it has been rekt. 90% down from the highs. No big surprise, BTC has killed everything, and FCT is essentially still vapourware until they take that next step consumer wise.
In my opinion, the next ALT pump will be the final easy mode in crypto. As Factom still has solid fundamentals, a relatively low market cap, and a VERY well funded team, if they can take the next step in 2018 and become what they have worked hard to be, it could be the crypto investment of the year.
BTC could still monster everything and go to 13k or something stupid, so I'm in no rush. I bought a small amount at around .0019, and will look to buy more when i see decent volume.
I usually really hate low liquidity alts/ alts in general, but I can't not take a poke at this.
