Most people follow them and sometimes they swing higher or lower at specific times.
When you break these patterns that's when volatility happens bullish or bearish

made alot of mistakes on my charts this year some were correct and others i don't even remember posting. You can tell just by looking and reading because i was drinking way too much. My newer charts are more professional and well executed with detail.
