Friday - last trading day before Chinese New Year. Traders like to get out of before long holidays so they are not surprised by gap downs when they return.
Also of note, does anyone find it odd that the richest man in the world whose company just reported slowest earnings growth since 2001 is getting a divorce? His ex-wife, who will get between 5-10% of the Company's outstanding shares, will not have to make the same public filings that Jeff does as an executive officer and director of the Company when she starts liquidating her AMZN shares....
