Here is what I think based on technical analysis:
According to the Ichimoku indicator if red line crosses the blue line and stays over it for a prolonged time crossing the cloud area as well could be an indication of a bear sign. If current trend continues we could be entering into a bear market which could last up to two years according to previous data. If you look at the past data the two bear markets (2000-2002 & 2007-2009) have lasted two years each with an average loss of 50%. Another curious fact is that both of the bull markets have lasted 6-7 years, well, its been 7 years since we entered the bull market!! is is time for a significant market correction? Some of the factors that will determine the stock direction in the following months are: upcoming elections, interest rate changes, etc.
