First it was QQQ , now time for SPY's turn
The unprofitable money ,that is mostly leveraged to boot, is shorting the SPY and futures more than anything we have seen going back to 1999 ( can't go back any further on finviz )
The spy has been underperforming pretty bad compared to QQQ
This data shows that as of the start of May, we have seen short bets by retail hit multi decade highs .
Time to buy SPY probably .
Expecting a possible stagnation of QQQ ,since it needs rest and it's net short status is losing steam, and SPY showing off for a bit . Betting against the leverage. No position , just an observation of historical significance .
