Nvidia Pushes Back On DGX Cloud Strategy Concerns

Moins d'1 minute de lecture

Nvidia NVDA is facing questions over the direction of its DGX Cloud business. A report from The Information suggested the company has eased off efforts to land new customers and is leaning more on the service for its own research, from building new chips to training AI models.

Nvidia, though, says that's not the case. Alex Black Bjorlin, who runs DGX Cloud, stressed there's been no change in strategy. Our internal researchers need significant computing, so do all of our customers. So our strategy is still the same, he said.

DGX Cloud rolled out in March 2023 as a way for companies to tap into clusters of Nvidia GPUs, first hosted on Oracle's cloud. It's pitched as a one-stop AI platform, designed to handle everything from training large language models to inference at scale, with software and managed services included.Nvidia shares edged 0.5% higher Friday morning, suggesting investors aren't rattled by the chatter.
