Vitol posts $8.0-8.5 bln net profit in 2024, sources say

The world's top energy trader Vitol made a net profit of between $8.0 billion and $8.5 billion in 2024, exceeding rivals by a wide margin for a third year in a row despite lower volatility, two industry sources familiar with the results said.
