Blockunity Altseason Index (BAI)

It's always very important as an investor to pay attention to the different rotations in the crypto market. This index makes it easy to see whether it's better in terms of performance to hold Bitcoin or Altcoins. To do this, it calculates a ratio taking into account the performance of several dozen Altcoins versus Bitcoin, making it possible to determine the seasonality of the market. It also gives Bitcoin's dominance in the overall capitalization of the crypto market, as well as that omitting Stablecoins.

  • Addition of an extra sentence in the panel indicating whether Bitcoin or Altcoins dominate whatever the state of seasonality.

  • Added Altcoin market status over one week, one month and 3 months. The state can have the following values (from worst to best): Dump, Down, Stable, Up, Altseason.
  • Addition of tooltips in the various table rows.
  • Some parameter values are now hidden for better readability.
  • Added a version number at the end of parameters.

Addition of an alerting system. This alert can be activated by setting the condition "Blockunity Altseason Index (BAI)" and selecting "Any alert() function call". The alerts sent are as follows:
  • Change in seasonality state.
  • Monthly summary of seasonality state, Bitcoin dominance and index ratio.
