R-Grid ZONES — Clean Risk/Reward Overlay (EUR & % Context)
R-Grid ZONES is a lightweight visual risk/reward overlay designed for discretionary trading.
It provides a fast, structured overview of R-multiple zones, percentage distances, and EUR price context, while keeping the chart itself in its native price currency (e.g. USD for US equities).
The script is intentionally minimal and non-automated.
It supports trade planning and decision-making, but leaves execution fully manual.
Key Features
Stacked R-Multiple Zones (1R, 2R, 2.5R, 3R, 4R)
Clearly visualizes risk and reward structure relative to entry and stop.
Native Price Chart, EUR Context
Price action remains unchanged in the chart’s base currency.
EUR values are displayed as small, non-intrusive labels for quick cross-currency orientation.
Percentage Distance from Entry
Optional percentage labels help assess volatility and distance to targets at a glance.
Right-Aligned, Clean Labels
Labels are placed to the right of the overlay, scaled and offset to avoid overlap and keep the chart readable.
FX Rate Freeze (optional)
Allows locking the EUR/USD exchange rate during trade planning to keep EUR values consistent.
Purpose & Design Philosophy
This script is not a replacement for TradingView’s drawing tools.
It is designed as a visual decision framework:
One look → R structure, % move, EUR levels → trade decision → manual execution.
The indicator deliberately avoids:
symbol-specific state or persistence
automated position sizing or P/L calculations
execution logic or trade management
This keeps the workflow fast, transparent, and low-maintenance.
