RS & Beta Strateji Matrisi by TeknikPiyasa

This indicator is a decision support radar based on Relative Strength and Beta (Market Sensitivity), enabling investors to allocate their capital to the most efficient assets. While traditional technical analysis tools examine price in isolation, this matrix focuses on a stock's interaction with the overall market (BIST 100, etc.).
🔍 Strategy Logic and Mathematical Foundation
A rising price alone is not sufficient; the key is to outperform the index. This indicator goes beyond raw data and is built on two fundamental pillars:
RS Slope (Relative Strength Slope): This is the 20-period Linear Regression analysis of the Stock/Index ratio. It shows not only the current level of the RS value but also the direction of its momentum. An RS Slope > 0 indicates the stock is gaining strength relative to the index.
Beta Sensitivity: Measures the asset's sensitivity to index movements. While stocks with a Beta > 1 offer high return potential in bull markets, they carry more risk during downturns.
SMA 20 Filter (Protective Shield): Flags situations where the price is below its 20-day simple moving average as "NEGATIVE," protecting the investor from risky entries during correction periods.
📊 Strategic Profile Matrix: 4 Core Characters
The matrix classifies stocks into four strategic identities based on the intersection of RS and Beta data, presented with color codes:
🟢 AGGRESSIVE LEADER (Bright Green): RS is rising, Beta > 1. These are the fastest-moving stocks in the market with the highest appetite. Requires active management.
🔵 CALM POWER (Blue): RS is rising, Beta < 1. These are medium-to-long term "safe haven" stocks that beat the index with lower volatility and less stress.
🟠 RISKY FOLLOWER (Orange): RS is falling, Beta > 1. This is the "dangerous" zone, where stocks are weak relative to the index but highly volatile. It is generally recommended to stay away.
🔴 WEAK / SLUGGISH (Red): RS is falling, Beta < 1. These are stocks with no capital inflow, lagging behind the index and causing opportunity cost for the investor.
🛠️ Usage Guide and Tips
Multi-Tracking: You can define up to 10 different stocks from the settings panel and monitor the overall market picture from a single dashboard.
Timeframe Management: Daily charts are ideal for determining the "Main Trend," while hourly charts can be used for "Micro-Timing" and entry points.
Real Return Check: By setting the benchmark to "USDTRY," you can instantly see whether a stock is gaining real strength on a dollar basis.
3+1 Portfolio Model: For risk management, selecting 3 "Calm Power" and 1 "Aggressive Leader" can provide balanced growth.
⚠️ Important Note
This indicator is a decision support mechanism. It should be combined with financial literacy and supported by other technical/fundamental analyses before making investment decisions.
"Winners in the stock market are not those who make the best predictions, but those who apply the most consistent systems."
