Indice Arms (TRIN)

L'indice d'Arms (TRIN) est un oscillateur de largeur du marché développé par Richard Arms. Il est également connu comme l'indice de Trading, d'où l'abréviation TRIN. Il rapporte l'avancement et la diminution des stocks à leurs flux de volumes respectifs en divisantle ratio Avance/Déclin par le ratio de volume. Quand il s'élève, on dit que le marché est faible et vice-versa. La valeur 1 est la clé et la traversée génère un signal. Une valeur supérieure à 1 indique que les stocks en déclin sont majoritaires dans le flux volumique et vice-versa. L'indicateur peut servir à repérer les situations de surachat et de survente et est mieux utilisé en combinaison avec d'autres techniques d'analyse.
