RSI / Stoch / SRSI / MFI / Aroon Overlay [SigmaDraconis]Combines 4 popular indicators (RSI, Stoch, SRSI, MFI) and 1 peculiar one (Aroon) in 1 for those who want to save indicators but not only.
This is an evolution of my (simpler) "RSI / Stoch / Stoch RSI (SRSI) Overlay " that you can find on my scripts.
Added bands for oversold/overbought areas (70/30 common for RSI and 80/20 for SRSI and MFI), as well as a middle 50 horizontal line.
Neutral bands around 55-45 added as well that can be hidden for less clutter. I also recommend a more transparent coloring for these since Pine script doesn't allow default transparency for horizontal lines.
By default only RSI and Stoch are activated, you can activate Aroon, MFI and SRSI on the inputs window.
Some extra notes:
* RSI, Stoch and MFI can help to strengthen one's decision as well as Aroon to predict a possible trend reversal, SRSI can show when RSI has high probability of being topped or bottomed when oversold/overbought but don't forget to look at volume and how the trend progresses that can keep SRSI above 80 or below 20 while RSI and price continues to trend, divergences are most helpful here to find possible reversal areas.
* This chart depicts some interesting divergences, as well as Stoch tops and bottoms and confluences between RSI/MFI and Stoch on some over-extended tops and bottoms that shown being good reversal zones.
RSI resistances are shown as well, failing to break above 60 or the neutral zone (this is a bearish BTC trend chart after all) or failing to gain support to break up certain levels (RSI notes a more bullish trend when consistently above 60 and more bearish below 40).

Indice de flux monétaire (MFI)
Log MFI - Money Flow Index The main concept was to make a bound oscillator calculate with a formula that places emphasis on the mean averages. Ideally this would mean that the oscillator won't have a tendency to swing into overbought/oversold condition and cause whipsaw. Using log is a way to increase the signal to noise ratio, with the regular MFI still plotted.
This indicator is best used in confluence with price action swings, where volume would normally be the highest.
Stoch Money Flow (ADMF) & Absolute Strength Index (ASI) [cI8DH]This indicator can apply my previous indicator, Historical and Standard Stochastic, to Money Flow (ADMF) or Absolute Strength Index (ASI) or both at the same time. It can also display those two indicators in regular mode as well as showing visual cues when the indicators make new ATH or ATL.
ASI is basically a new name I am giving to my Gain/Loss Moving Average indicator. If you normalize ASI with the moving average of all the changes in price, it becomes identical to RSI. So ASI is basically non-normalized RSI, that is why it should be a more accurate representation of price momentum.
ADMF is an accumulation/distribution and money flow momentum indicator. Both ASI and ADMF are not range-bound so it is not easy to compare them against each other. When stochastic equation is applied to them, they both become range-bound and comparable. The gaps between the two indicator can reveal valuable information about market dynamics. The chart below shows some examples (note the settings).
For conventional usages of stochastic, please read www.tradingview.com(STOCH) and www.tradingview.com(STOCH_RSI). I recommend you to find the optimal length by playing with the stoch length in the indicator settings. If this parameter is calibrated properly, this indicator can be a powerful tool for identifying market cycle.
You can get these features ( ATH , ATL detection and historical stochastic) for any other indicator using the script below:
Money Flow IndexMFI (money flow index) indicator, to help identify volume trends, divergence, and reversals. Optional settings to show the "raw" money flow or the money flow ratio, instead of the final MFI calculation. Also includes optional SMA (for MFI only).

RSI/MFI - MTF - Entry signals/Trend colored bars - JD@version=2
This indicator is designed to give early entry signals as well as to follow trend moves, according to different settings.
The indicator shows a histogram of the RSI ro MFI in relation to an ema of the RSI or MFI.
The histogram is then smoothed to give early reversal/entry signals.
The actual RSI/MFI line with oversold/overbought indication can be displayed or omitted, as preferred.
in addition to the RSI/MFI line or as an alternative to it, the background colour can be set to change folowing the RSI/MFI signals.
The timeframe can be chosen. Higher timeframes (eg. 3h) tend to give less false signals.
version 5.
added support for custom Multiple Time Frame selection.
added option for choice of RSI or MFI as base indicator.
added option for price bar coloring according to the indicator. (deselecting "borders" in the "style" tab is recommended)
price bar coloring can be adjusted for different strategies:
1. following the slope of the histogram (for faster entry/exit signals)
2. according to positive or negative histogram (for longer moves)
3. according to pos. or neg. RSI/MFI (for longer term trend holds)
4. uptrend: biased towards faster buy signals and slower sell signals to stay in the uptrend
5. downtrend: biased towards faster sell signals and slower buy signals to stay in the downtrend
A longer timeframe (eg. 3x) is recommended for following trend moves.
try different strategies to see what works better for RSI or MFI.

Fisher Transform Money Flow IndexThis is an experimental indicator by applying Money Flow Index with Fisher Transform. i found MFI code and Fisher transform code from public library.
Use longer length to find divergence. Tune the length and samples according to your trading style and instrument
Accumulation/Distribution Percentage (ADP) [Cyrus c|:D]Accumulation/Distribution Percentage ( ADP ) is used to measure money flow similar to Chaikin Money Flow ( CMF ) and Money Flow. It is the range-bound version of my previous indicator ADMF. This indicator can be used for analyzing momentum, buy/sell pressure, and overbought/oversold conditions. I believe that this indicator is more accurate than CMF and MFI (I will publish a TA about it one day!).
What to look for:
- When this indicator moves up, it means buy pressure is increasing and the other way around for sell pressure. Crossing 0 means that trend has changed in the given period (it is best to look for confirmation of buy/sell pressure in larger TFs)
- Overbought above 40 and oversold below -40 (these numbers vary depending on the security. Look for historical levels to determine overbought and oversold conditions of each security)
- Regular divergence shows that momentum of a trend is declining. Hidden divergence implies continuation of a trend. The non-bound mode should be more accurate for identifying divergence.
- Failure swings can detect potential reversals.
Please read Relative Strength Index and Money Flow for more information and similar disclaimers.
Recommendations:
- hlc3 (AKA typical price) as input source might be better than "close" as it captures more information. If you use hlc3 as a source, then change the chart type to line and set hlc3 as the source for identifying divergence.
- Use hybrid tickers e.g.(BITFINEX:BTCUSD+COINBASE:BTCUSD+BITSTAMP:BTCUSD)/3. Volume-based indicators are susceptible to wash trading/volume printing and hybrid tickers mitigate this issue.
- In non-bound mode, small TFs with longer length should be more accurate than larger TFs with standard length (same is true for many other indicators)
Background:
I have developed 4 indicators based on a simple but elegant concept of A/D ratio. A/D ratio is equal to (current close - previous close)/True Range (when there are no price gaps, True Range = High - Low)
1) What you see on ADV indicator as darker green and red is equal to A/D ratio x volume.
2) ADL indicator shows the summation of ADV
3) ADMF (or ADP in non-bound mode) shows Moving Average of ADV
4) ADP shows relative accumulation strength which is calculated as RMA (accumulations)/RMA(accumulation + distribution). ADP equation is based on RSI equation which is RMA(gains)/RMA(gains + losses). That is why these two indicators look quite similar.
PS: Please leave a like if you find these indicators useful. I am working on improvements on these and other indicators. I am trying my best to keep them as simple as possible. Please let me know in the comments if you want me to make future indicators even simpler.
--------
Complementary indicators based on the same concept:
ADL: a replacement for Chaikin's Accum/Dist, On Balance Volume, and Price Volume Trend
ADV: a replacement for regular volume indicator
ADP also has a scaled RSI and ADMF built in (ie ADMF is obsolete).
Accumulation/Distribution Money Flow [Cyrus c|:D]This indicator should be more accurate than other indicators in its class (including MFI, CMF, ADL, and OBV) for measuring buy/sell pressure, identifying trend change through divergence and calculating Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) level (I will explain why in a separate TA).
This indicator is based on my previous indicator "Accumulation/Distribution Volume". It does not include the volume bars. The volume effect is adjustable as well.
Application:
- Buy/sell pressure: above 0 shows buy pressure, below 0 shows sell pressure.
- Divergence: as shown in the chart above, this indicator diverged from BTC price during swing lows and highs in the shown period.
- Accumulation/distribution: set Aggregation=Sum, Volume Exponent=10 and uncheck Price Factor.
Recommendations:
- Never use SMA
- Use larger length EMA for confirmation of divergence or buy/sell pressure (EMA 27 is equal to RMA 14 which is used in RSI).
. A/D mode is not recommended for hidden divergence.
My Setup:
- I use one instances of this indicator with default settings for buy/sell pressure
- A second instance for A/D level overlaid on the main chart
- One instance of "Accumulation/Distribution Volume" as a replacement for volume indicator
This indicator can also replicate Accumulation/Distribution Line (improved by True Range), On Balance Volume, and Price Volume Trend. Read more details on the description of the previous indicator:
I strongly recommend reading about similar indicators for potential uses e.g. www.tradingview.com(MFI) and www.tradingview.com(PVT)
I will publish a TA about correctly measuring divergence and using these indicators.
Please report any problems you find in the comments.

Volume Factored Relative Strength Index (VFRSI)RSI is an indicator that is dependent only on price. I modified RSI to factor in volume as well. On BTC chart presented above, VFRSI is more accurate than RSI in detecting extreme conditions (green line is VFRSI). In some instances, it seems to be better than RSI in detecting divergences as well (scroll to March 2018).
In smaller time frames, it reduces the bart effect present on RSI without compromising responsiveness (unlike moving averages).
Features:
- Parameterized variables
- Includes regular RSI
- Includes an adjustable weight factor to reduce the effect of volume. At 0, it is identical to RSI.
PS: If you have seen a similar indicator, please let me know. Otherwise, this indicator has the potential to replace regular RSI.
Your feedback is very welcome :)

Money Flow Index + AlertsThis study is based on the work of TV user Beasley Savage ( ) and all credit goes to them.
Changes I've made:
1. Added a visual symbol of an overbought/oversold threshold cross in the form of a red/green circle, respectively. Sometimes it can be hard to see when a cross actually occurs, and if your scaling isn't set up properly you can get misleading visuals. This way removes all doubt. Bear in mind they aren't meant as trading signals, so DO NOT use them as such. Research the MFI if you're unsure, but I use them as an early warning and that particular market/stock is added to my watchlist.
2. Added 60/40 lines as the MFI respects these incredibly well in trends. E.g. in a solid uptrend the MFI won't go below 40, and vice versa. Use the idea of support and resistance levels on the indicator and it'll be a great help. I've coloured the zones. Strong uptrends should stay above 60, strong downtrends should stay below 40. The zone in between 40-60 I've called the transition zone. MFI often stays here in consolidation periods, and in the last leg of a cycle/trend the MFI will often drop into this zone after being above 60 or below 40. This is a great sign that you should get out and start looking to reverse your position. Hopefully it helps to spot divergences as well.
3. Added alerts based on an overbought/oversold cross. Also added an alert for when either condition is triggered, so hopefully that's useful for those struggling with low alert limits. Feel free to change the overbought/oversold levels, the alerts + crossover visual are set to adapt.
Like any indicator, don't use this one alone. It works best paired with indicators/techniques that contradict it. You'll often see a OB/OS cross, and price will continue on it's way for many weeks more. But MFI is a great tool for identifying upcoming trend changes.
Any queries please comment or PM me.
Cheers,
RJR
MFI Multi-TimeframeThe Money Flow Index (MFI) is an oscillating momentum and market strength indicator that was developed by Gene Quong and Avrum Soudack. It is also a leading indicator, which means it tends to lead price action, and is similar in calculation as J. Welles Wilder's Relative Strength Index (RSI) with the significant difference being that the MFI uses both price and volume. Like the RSI, the MFI is a range-bound oscillator that oscillates between zero and 100 and is interpreted in a similar way as the RSI. The ultimate aim of the MFI is to determine whether money is flowing in or out of a security over a specified look-back period.
HOW IS IT USED ?
The MFI oscillates between 0 and 100 and a security is considered overbought when its MFI rises above 80 and oversold when its MFI falls below 20. These levels are the suggested overbought and oversold levels as suggested by Quong and Soudack, though they do not suggest these levels as entry signals. Instead, these caution levels warn that the price action and the current trend have reached extremes that may be unsustainable. Quong and Soudack also recommend using the 90 and 10 lines as truly overbought and truly oversold levels respectively. MFI movements above 90 and below 10 are rare and indicate a higher level of unsustainability.
Finally, failure swings from the 20 or 80 levels can also be used to identify potential price reversals and trade entries. A failure swing occurs when the MFI moves over the overbought or oversold level but reverses back before reaching the opposite level. Thus, when the MFI crosses up over the 20 (oversold) level but reverses before it reaches the 80 (overbought) level, it indicates that the uptrend is weak and that it may reverse soon. This signals that you should cover any long positions or go short. Similarly, when the MFI crosses down over the 80 (overbought) level but reverses before it reaches the 20 (oversold) level, it indicates a weakness in the down trend and the probability that the trend will reverse. This would be a signal to close of any short positions; or a signal to long buy.
I added the possibility to add on the chart a 2nd timeframe for confirmation.
If you found this script useful, a tip is always welcome... :)
Relative Strength Index + MFI breachI allowed myself to take a piece of code of one of the indicators MFI present on Tradingview for the added to a RSI!
I made this srcipt to avoid cluttering the screen, so we can see the oversold / overbought of the MFI without having any additional indicator
Money Flow Index - Beasley SavageThe Money Flow Index indicator (MFI) is a tool used in technical analysis for measuring buying and selling pressure. This is done through analyzing both price and volume. The MFI's calculation generates a value that is then plotted as a line that moves within a range of 0-100, making it an oscillator. When the MFI rises, this indicates an increase in buying pressure. When it falls, this indicates an increase in selling pressure. The Money Flow Index can generate several signals, most notably: overbought and oversold conditions, divergences, and failure swings.
Momentum Exhaustion IndicatorThis is a very simple indicator for quickly spotting points of momentum exhaustion and potential trend reversal. It is NOT a Buy or Sell signal. Instead, it tries to isolate periods of maximum risk and maximum opportunity.
Internally, it combines the RSI and MFI indicators to reduce noise and provide more accurate signals.
