OHLC-OLHC [ARKN] ARKN combines three time-based analysis tools into a single overlay so that session context, higher-timeframe structure, and cross-asset divergence can be read together on one chart, without stacking three separate indicators. What it does Killzones — Draws up to four configurable session boxes (defaults: Asia, London, NY AM, NY PM) with optional session high/low pivot lines, midpoints, day-of-week labels, opening-price lines, and an "opening candle" marker. Pivots can extend until mitigated or past mitigation, with optional alerts when a session high or low is broken. HTF Candles — Renders up to four higher-timeframe candle sets to the right of the live price, each with its own timeframe and display count. Optional Fair Value Gap and Volume Imbalance boxes, a remaining-time countdown, and interval labels are drawn directly on the projected candles. Sequential SMT (SSMT) — Detects SMT-style divergence between correlated instruments across nested cycles (Micro, 90-minute, Daily, Weekly, Monthly). Triads can be set automatically for common groups (metals, indices, FX, crypto, futures) or defined manually, with an inverse option for negatively-correlated pairs. Both standard (wick-based) and hidden (body/close-based) divergences are supported. Why these three together The three modules answer three sequential questions a session-based trader asks in order: when (Killzones frame the active session), what structure (HTF Candles show the higher-timeframe bias forming in real time), and confirmation (SSMT flags when a correlated instrument fails to confirm the move). Combining them removes the need to switch layouts or sync timeframes manually, since all three share the same timezone and session logic. How to use Set your timezone under Settings; all sessions and cycles reference it. Each module has a master ON/OFF toggle at the top of its settings group. For SSMT, either leave Triad Selection on Auto (it picks correlated assets for the current symbol) or set Manual to define your own triad. Lower timeframes show Micro/90m cycles; higher timeframes show Daily/Weekly/Monthly. HTF Candle timeframes must be higher than the chart timeframe to display. Per module: session times and colors (Killzones), timeframe and candle count (HTF Candles), cycle visibility, line styles, and correlation triads (SSMT). How It Works For every enabled session, the script tracks the session window using TradingView's session-time logic in your selected timezone. When a session opens, it records the opening price and begins tracking the running high and low. As each bar develops, the range box and body box are updated in real time to reflect the evolving high, low, and close. When the session ends, the range is finalized and (optionally) a close line is drawn at the session's last price. Each session's drawings are stored and managed individually, and older sessions are automatically cleaned up based on your history setting to keep the chart efficient and uncluttered. Settings - Session A–H — toggle, name, session time, color, and per-session Range / Open Line / Close Line options. - Timezone — manual UTC offset or exchange timezone. - History — show historical sessions and number of days back. - Ranges Settings — wick/body transparency, body toggle, outline toggle, label toggle, and adaptive background colors. - Dashboard — show/hide, location, and text size. - Dividers — session dividers and daily dividers. How to Use Add the indicator to any intraday timeframe. Configure each session's time to match the market windows you trade, and set your timezone so the boxes align correctly. Use the range box to identify session highs and lows that often act as intraday support/resistance, and use the body and open/close lines to gauge directional bias within each window. When price reclaims or rejects the line, it tells you whether those traders are in profit or in loss as a group, and the line itself often acts as dynamic support or resistance. The challenge with anchored VWAPs is that there are many useful anchor points. A serious trader might want VWAPs from the last swing high, the last swing low, today’s open, today’s high, today’s low, the previous week’s high, the start of the NY session, and so on. Manually anchoring all of those — and re-anchoring them every time a new extreme prints — is tedious and error-prone. The Anchored VWAP Suite handles this automatically. It detects every meaningful anchor point on the chart, draws the VWAP from that anchor, keeps it updated as new extremes print, retires old VWAPs as they age out, and presents the whole set in a way that stays readable even when ten or more lines are on the chart at once. Three modes are available: ◇ Standard: every bar from the anchor counts equally. This is the classic anchored VWAP — older bars carry the same weight as the most recent ones. The line becomes steadily slower to respond as the anchor moves further into the past. ◇ EMA: recent bars are weighted more heavily, using a 2/(N+1) coefficient. The VWAP responds faster to new price action while still tracking back to the anchor point. ◇ RMA: also weights recent bars more, but with a slower 1/N coefficient (Wilder's smoothing). Smoother than EMA, but lags more. The default is RMA, which produces a responsive line that behaves consistently whether the anchor is recent or far back. 🔹 Period Period sets the length used by the EMA and RMA modes. Larger values smooth more — the line moves less. Smaller values make the line more reactive but jumpier. Period is ignored when Method is set to Standard, since Standard treats every bar equally regardless of length. The default is 20. 🔹 Max VWAP Length Max VWAP Length caps how far back a single VWAP can anchor before it's dropped from the chart. The default of 5,000 bars covers most use cases. Raise it if you need to keep very old anchored VWAPs visible — for example, swing VWAPs from far back in history. Lower it if you find the indicator slowing down on heavy charts; a smaller cap means less work to render and a snappier response when many VWAPs are active at once. This cap also applies when a new VWAP is first drawn: anchors older than the configured limit are not created, so every line on the chart always fits inside the configured length. COMMON ANCHOR SETTINGS: SOURCE & COUNT Beyond the General Configuration above, two settings — Source and Count — appear in nearly every anchor family. Because they work the same way across all of them, they are explained here once and then referenced inside each anchor family below. 🔹 Source Source controls which price each bar contributes to the VWAP after the anchor is set, but it does not change the anchor itself. The anchor bar is always pinned to its defining extreme: a Swing High VWAP anchors at the actual high of the swing-high candle, a Daily Open VWAP anchors at the actual open of the day, a Daily Low VWAP anchors at the actual low, and so on. From the bar after that, the Source you choose decides which price gets fed into the volume-weighted calculation. Available sources: ◇ High — only the high of each bar contributes ◇ Low — only the low of each bar contributes ◇ Close — only the close of each bar contributes ◇ Open — only the open of each bar contributes ◇ HLC3 — average of high, low, and close (the classic "typical price") ◇ HL2 — midpoint of high and low ◇ OHLC4 — average of open, high, low, and close In practice, most traders leave Source at the default for each anchor type: High for "high" anchors, Low for "low" anchors, Open for open-based anchors. Switching to HLC3, HL2, or OHLC4 produces a smoother VWAP that's less sensitive to long wicks, while sticking with High, Low, or Close keeps the line tight to a single price point on every bar. 🔹 Count Count controls how many VWAPs of a given type are kept on the chart at once. As new anchors form, older ones drop off automatically — so a Count of 3 on Daily Open VWAPs means the indicator always shows the three most recent daily-open VWAPs and quietly drops anything older. Set Count to 1 for a clean chart that only shows the latest anchor of each type. Raise it when you want a side-by-side view of how price has interacted with multiple historical anchors of the same kind. SESSION ANCHORS 🔹 What Are Session Anchors? Session anchors are VWAPs anchored to the session high and session low of the three major intraday sessions: Asia, London, and New York. They appear as each session develops and lock in once the session closes. 🔹 Default Session Times (New York Time) ◇ Asia: 20:00 – 22:00 ◇ London: 02:00 – 04:00 ◇ New York: 10:00 – 12:00 🔹 Live Re-Anchoring While a session is open, the high and low VWAPs re-anchor automatically each time price prints a new extreme inside that session. Both make natural anchor points because they often mark the moment supply or demand showed up in size. 🔹 How the Indicator Detects Swings The indicator looks for pivots using two confirmation windows: a "Swing Bars Left" count and a "Swing Bars Right" count. The current pivot must be the most extreme bar over both windows before the swing is locked in, and a VWAP is anchored to it. Larger values catch only the more meaningful swings; smaller values catch more frequent (but noisier) ones. The default is 10 bars left and 10 bars right. 🔹 Count Up to 10 swing-high VWAPs and 10 swing-low VWAPs can be kept on the chart at once. It consolidates the three primary trading sessions — Asia, London, and New York — into a single, clean overlay that surfaces the session structure, key price levels, and historical behavioural statistics without requiring you to switch timeframes or manually draw levels each day. The indicator is built around one core idea: that understanding the relationship between how Asia and London sessions form relative to each other, and how New York then behaves within that context, gives you a repeatable, statistical basis for anticipating price delivery. Everything the indicator draws and measures flows from that relationship. --- ## How It Works — Core Concepts ### Session Candles For each of the three sessions, the indicator builds a composite candlestick representing the full session range — open, high, low, and close — updated live as each session progresses. These session candles are displayed to the right of the current price in the chart's future space, positioned side by side so you can see all three sessions at a glance without cluttering the main chart. Asia runs 18:00–02:00 ET. London runs 02:00–08:00 ET. New York runs 08:00–17:00 ET. Each candle shows its body (semi-transparent fill), upper and lower wicks, and high/low price labels. The candles are monochrome — direction is read from body position (open vs close) rather than colour, keeping the display uncluttered. **Candle display rules by session phase:** During the **Asia session**, only the live Asia candle is shown. London and NY slots are empty — no stale prior-day candles carry over into a new cycle. During the **London session**, the completed Asia candle is shown alongside the live London candle. The NY slot remains empty until NY opens. During the **NY session**, all three candles are visible: the completed Asia, the completed London, and the live NY updating in real time. **Between sessions** (after NY closes and before the next Asia opens), all three completed candles remain visible until the next Asia session starts the cycle fresh. ### The 25% Level For each completed session candle, the indicator calculates a **25% level** based on the candle's body (the open-to-close range), direction-aware: On a **bullish candle** (close ≥ open), the level sits in the upper quarter of the body — body top minus 25% of the body range. This marks the zone above which the candle is considered to have delivered into premium. On a **bearish candle** (close < open), the level sits in the lower quarter of the body — body bottom plus 25% of the body range. This marks the zone below which the candle has delivered into discount. The 25% level appears in two places. First, as a short horizontal tick extending rightward from the candle body in the session candle panel. Second, as a horizontal line drawn across the main price chart, running from the session's opening bar to the current bar, labelled with the session name and "25%". The chart line is what traders interact with in real time. It shows where the 25% level sits relative to live price action. The stats table then quantifies — historically and filtered by today's regime — how NY tends to interact with that London 25% level, making it the primary reference for intraday entry context. ### Session H/M/L/O Lines The indicator also draws up to four horizontal reference lines extending from the session's opening bar to the current bar: the session **High**, the session **Mid** (arithmetic midpoint of high and low), the session **Low**, and the session **Open**. Each is independently togglable and labelled at the right edge. These lines give you the most relevant reference prices from completed sessions without needing to draw them manually. ### Session Open Vertical Lines At the exact bar where each session opens, a vertical line is drawn extending the full height of the chart, labelled with the session name. These act as visual dividers making session boundaries immediately clear. --- ## Session Structure (Regime) The core analytical concept driving the statistics table is the structural relationship between Asia and London — specifically, how London's high and low relate to Asia's high and low. The indicator classifies each completed Asia→London pair into one of five regimes, compared wick-to-wick (full session highs and lows, not bodies): **London Engulfs Asia** — London's high exceeded Asia's high AND London's low went below Asia's low. London expanded beyond Asia in both directions. **Asia Engulfs London** — Asia's high was at or above London's high AND Asia's low was at or below London's low. London formed entirely within Asia's range. **London Partial Up** — London's high exceeded Asia's high, but London's low held at or above Asia's low. London broke out to the upside only. **London Partial Down** — London's low went below Asia's low, but London's high stayed at or below Asia's high. London broke out to the downside only. **Inside** — London's range fell entirely within Asia's range without touching either extreme. **Important:** the regime is only confirmed once London has fully closed (i.e. when NY opens). During the Asia and London sessions, the Structure row in the stats table displays "Pending (London open)" to prevent showing an incomplete or misleading classification. The regime shown in the table always refers to the completed Asia→London pair for the current trading day. --- ## Stats Table The stats table is the indicator's most powerful feature. It answers the question: given today's Asia-London structure, how has New York historically behaved? ### How the History Is Built Each time a full Asia→London→NY cycle completes — detected at the opening bar of the next Asia session — that cycle's data is committed to a historical array. The number of sessions retained is controlled by the Lookback input (default 252, approximately one trading year). Every percentage shown in the table is derived from this rolling history. The stats loop filters the history to only those cycles where the Asia-London regime **matches today's current regime**, then calculates frequencies across that filtered subset. ### REGIME Section **Structure** shows today's Asia-London regime classification, or "Pending (London open)" while London is still active. **Occurrences** shows how many times this regime has appeared in the lookback window, displayed as N / total sessions analysed. This is your sample size indicator — treat regimes with fewer than 15–20 occurrences with caution. **Asia Range (avg | cur)** shows the average Asia session range across all sessions in the lookback period, followed by today's Asia range in points. **London Range (avg | cur)** shows the same for London — historical average versus today's current range in points. ### NY BEHAVIOUR Section All percentages here are filtered to sessions where the Asia-London regime matches today's. **NY Bullish** — the percentage of matching sessions where NY closed above its open. **London High Taken** — the percentage where NY's high reached or exceeded London's session high. **London Low Taken** — the percentage where NY's low reached or went below London's session low. **Sequential H+L** — the percentage where NY took both London's high and London's low in the same session. This can be read alongside NY Bullish to understand whether the open position tends to predict the close direction. ### Wick Interaction Rows These rows adapt based on whether today's London session closed bullish or bearish, measuring how NY interacted with the London 25% level. The denominator for all wick rows is the number of bullish (or bearish) London sessions within the regime-matched set — not the total regime count. **When London closed bullish:** *NY Stays Above Lon 25%* — the percentage of bullish London sessions (within the regime) where NY's low never traded below the London 25% level. NY respected the upper quarter of the London body throughout the session. *Wick < Lon 25% → Close Above* — NY wicked below the London 25% level at some point but ultimately closed above it. This is the classic liquidity sweep and recovery pattern — historically the most operationally useful row for identifying long entry context when NY trades into that zone. *Wick < Lon 25% → Close Below* — NY wicked below the London 25% level and failed to recover. A high reading here would warn that trading below the 25% zone is a bearish continuation signal rather than a sweep. *Wick < Lon Low → Close Above* — NY extended below London's full session low (a complete sweep of the London low) but closed back above it. A high reading here indicates the London low is frequently swept as a stop-hunt before NY recovers. **When London closed bearish:** *NY Stays Below Lon 25%* — NY's high never reached the London 25% level. The bearish delivery was uninterrupted. *Wick > Lon 25% → Close Below* — NY wicked above the London 25% level but closed below it. The mirror of the bullish sweep pattern — potential short entry context when NY rallies into that zone. *Wick > Lon 25% → Close Above* — NY wicked above the 25% level and failed to close below it. A high reading signals that moves above the 25% zone tend to hold, warning against fading rallies. *Wick > Lon High → Close Below* — NY extended above London's full high but closed back below it. A high reading indicates the London high is frequently swept before NY resumes lower. ### TODAY Section **London 25%** — whether the completed London session's close was above its open ("Above (bull)") or below its open ("Below (bear)"). This determines which set of wick interaction rows is shown. **NY Open** — whether NY's opening price was above or below the London session midpoint. Updated once NY opens. **London High** — whether NY has taken London's high yet ("Taken ✓") or not yet ("Pending"). Updates live during the NY session. **London Low** — whether NY has taken London's low yet ("Taken ✓") or not yet ("Pending"). Updates live during the NY session. --- ## Interpreting the Stats Table **Step 1 — Check the regime and sample size.** Once London closes, read the Structure row. Then check Occurrences. A regime appearing 40 or more times in 252 sessions gives you a meaningful base rate. Fewer than 15 occurrences is too thin to trade mechanically from. **Step 2 — Read the directional bias.** NY Bullish gives you the baseline expectation for NY's close direction under this regime. Combine it with NY Open Above Lon Mid — if NY opens above the London midpoint AND NY Bullish is high, the probability of a bullish close is further supported by position. If they diverge, the session is more likely to be contested. **Step 3 — Set the 25% level expectation.** This is the most operationally useful step. If London closed bullish, look at the three wick rows. A high "Wick < Lon 25% → Close Above" reading (e.g. 60%+) tells you that historically, when NY dips below that upper quarter of the London body, it tends to recover above it. This provides a framework for anticipating where NY might seek liquidity before continuing higher, and gives you a probabilistic basis for a long setup in that zone. **Step 4 — Assess the London level take rates.** High London High Taken combined with low London Low Taken suggests NY tends to run to the upside of the London range. High Sequential H+L suggests NY routinely sweeps both extremes — in that case, plan for multiple liquidity events rather than a clean one-directional move. **Step 5 — Track the TODAY section during NY.** Once NY is open, the London High and London Low rows tell you in real time whether the key liquidity levels have been swept. Cross-reference with the historical rates from the behaviour section to assess whether NY is behaving consistently with its historical pattern or deviating from it. --- ## Input Configuration ### Asia, London, and NY Sessions Each session has an identical set of inputs configured independently: **Show Candle** enables or disables the session candle in the right-side panel. **Show Session Open Line** draws a vertical line at the moment the session opens. The line colour, style (Solid / Dashed / Dotted), and width are configurable. An optional label can be shown alongside the line, with size options of tiny, small, or normal. **Show H/M/L/O Lines** enables the horizontal reference lines on the main chart. Each of the four levels — High, Mid, Low, and Open — has its own toggle so you can show only the levels relevant to your workflow. The line colour, style, and width are shared across the four levels for that session. Label size is also configurable. **Show 25% Line on Chart** enables the horizontal 25% level line on the main chart. Colour, line style, width, and label size are independently configurable per session. *Note: NY does not have H/M/L/O or 25% chart lines while the NY session is live — those lines only appear once NY has closed, so they do not interfere with reading the active session.* ### Session Candles (shared settings) **Offset from chart (bars)** — how far to the right of the last price bar the candle panel begins. Increase this if the candles overlap with your price action or labels. **Candle width (bars)** — the width of each session candle box measured in bar units. Adjust to taste based on your chart zoom level. **Spacing between candles** — the gap between adjacent session candles in bar units. **Body fill transparency** — controls how transparent the candle body fill is. 0 is fully opaque, 100 is invisible. Default 85 gives a subtle fill. **Show wicks** — enables the upper and lower wick lines on each session candle. **Show high/low labels** — shows price labels at the high and low of each session candle. **Label size** — applies to the candle price labels (tiny / small / normal). **Show 25% tick on candle** — draws a short horizontal tick at the 25% level extending rightward from the candle body in the panel. ### Stats Table **Show Stats Table** — master toggle for the entire table. **Lookback (sessions)** — the number of completed Asia→London→NY cycles to include in the historical analysis. Default is 252 (approximately one trading year). Minimum 10, maximum 2000. A longer lookback smooths out regime-specific anomalies but may include structural market conditions that are no longer relevant. A shorter lookback is more reactive but produces smaller sample sizes per regime. **Table Position** — nine position options covering all corners and edge midpoints of the chart. **Text Size** — Tiny, Small, or Normal. Small is the default and works well on most monitor sizes. **Background** — background colour and transparency of the table panel. **Text colour** — colour applied to all table text. **Border** — colour of the table cell borders and outer frame. --- ## Chart Elements Summary **Vertical lines** at each session open, labelled Asia, London, or NY — mark the session boundaries across the full chart height. **Session candle panel** to the right of price — three side-by-side composite candles showing the OHLC of each session, with wicks, price labels, and 25% ticks. **Horizontal lines on the main chart** — H/M/L/O and 25% lines from completed sessions, each starting from the session's opening bar and extending to the current bar, labelled at the right edge. **Stats table** — historical frequency analysis conditioned on today's Asia-London regime, showing NY behavioural tendencies and live session tracking. --- ## Recommended Usage **Timeframe:** The indicator is designed for intraday charts, typically 1-minute through 15-minute. Session detection is time-based, not candle-count-based, so it works correctly on any timeframe as long as your chart covers the relevant session hours. **Instrument:** Originally developed for NQ (Nasdaq 100 E-mini Futures). Works on any instrument that trades during the defined session windows. All session times are referenced to the America/New_York timezone. **Daily workflow:** During Asia — observe the Asia candle building. The H/M/L/O lines begin plotting from the Asia open. Note the range size relative to the historical average shown in the table. At the London open — Asia is now complete. The regime begins forming as London trades relative to the Asia range. Monitor London's progress. At the NY open — London is complete. The regime is confirmed and the stats table populates with the full historical analysis. Read the NY Behaviour section to set your expectations for the session. Note whether NY opened above or below the London midpoint, and note the current London 25% level on the chart. During NY — use the wick interaction rows to frame entries. Watch the London High and London Low rows in the TODAY section to track whether liquidity levels are being swept. Assess NY's behaviour against the historical tendencies for this regime. --- ## Notes and Limitations **Sample size matters.** Regimes with fewer than 15–20 occurrences in your lookback window should be treated with caution. The percentages are directionally informative but not statistically robust at small sample sizes. Always read Occurrences before relying on the behaviour rows. **The 25% level uses candle bodies, not wicks.** It measures where price closed relative to the open, not the full session range. This is intentional — body-based levels represent committed directional delivery, while wicked extremes may represent temporary liquidity events that the body then rejected. **Regime is confirmed at NY open only.** Showing a regime mid-London-session would compare a developing candle against a completed Asia candle, producing classifications that can change as London continues. The "Pending (London open)" display is by design. **History is built session by session.** If you add the indicator mid-session, the current incomplete session will not be committed to history until the next Asia open. All statistics reflect only fully completed Asia→London→NY cycles. **The wick interaction row denominators are direction-matched, not regime-total.** The bullish wick rows divide by the count of bullish London sessions within the regime. The bearish wick rows divide by bearish London sessions. This means these rows cannot be compared directly against NY Bullish or the London take-rate rows, which use the full regime count as their denominator.

Session Raid StatsThis indicator combines two ideas into one tool: it plots fixed-point projection levels above and below up to three configurable session ranges, and it tracks a **raid statistics table** that measures how often price breaks beyond each of those levels and closes back inside the range — a confirmed "raid" — across hundreds of historical sessions. The result is a probability-based view of where price tends to reach and reverse after a session closes, expressed as a percentage drawn from real historical data on your current chart and timeframe. --- **What is a Raid?** A raid occurs when price breaks beyond a session's high or low by at least a user-defined minimum amount, then closes back inside the range. This is distinct from a simple breakout — a raid requires the close to return, confirming the move was a liquidity sweep rather than a sustained break. The indicator tracks raids separately for the high side (upward sweeps above the range high) and the low side (downward sweeps below the range low). --- **Features** - Up to **3 independent session ranges**, each with configurable time windows (in NY timezone) - **Range boxes** drawn during the session using wick high/low - **Projection lines** drawn at fixed-point intervals beyond the range high and low when the session closes — all three ranges share the same level configuration so the lines are directly comparable - **Raid detection** begins the moment each session range closes and runs for a user-configurable cutoff window - **Raid statistics table** showing cumulative confirmed raid counts and probabilities at each level, for both the high and low side, for all three ranges - **Cutoff line** drawn on the chart when each range's detection window expires, with configurable colour, style and label size - Title row of each table panel is colour-matched to that range's box colour for instant visual identification --- **How the Levels Work** All projection lines and statistics table rows are driven by a single pair of inputs: **Level Start** and **Level Step**. If you set Level Start to 20pts and Level Step to 10pts, the six levels will be placed at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 points beyond the range high and low. The same thresholds define the bucket boundaries in the statistics table — so the "≥ 20 pts" row in the table directly corresponds to the "+20pts" line on the chart. This means the table is answering a precise question: *"Of all historical sessions on this chart, what percentage had a confirmed high-side raid that reached at least the +20pts line?"* --- **Statistics Table — How to Read It** The table shows one panel per range (or just the active range if "Show All 3 Panels" is turned off). Each panel contains: | Column | Meaning | |---|---| | **Level** | The point threshold beyond the range high/low | | **^ Cnt** | Number of historical sessions with a confirmed high-side raid reaching at least this level | | **^ Prob** | That count as a percentage of total sessions tracked | | **v Cnt** | Same for low-side raids | | **v Prob** | Low-side probability | The probabilities are **cumulative** — the "≥ 20pts" row counts all sessions where the confirmed raid reached *at least* 20pts beyond the range, including any that went further. This means probabilities always decrease as you move down the table to higher levels. A **→** arrow next to a level indicates the current session's confirmed raid has been sized into that bucket. The **STATUS** row at the bottom shows the live state of the current session: - **WATCHING** — range has closed, cutoff window is open, no raid confirmed yet - **CONFIRMED** — a raid has been confirmed this session, with the extension in points shown - **WINDOW CLOSED** — the cutoff window has expired without a confirmation The title row of each panel shows the session time string and total number of historical sessions used for the statistics. --- **Raid Detection Logic** Detection begins on the first bar after the session range closes and continues until the cutoff window expires: 1. A **touch** is registered when price wicks beyond the range high or low by more than the minimum raid size (configurable per range) 2. A **confirmation** is registered when, after a touch, price closes back inside the range 3. At the moment the cutoff window expires, the session is recorded — confirmed raids are bucketed by their extension size, sessions without a confirmation are recorded as no-raid and counted toward the denominator Raids that touch outside the range but never close back inside are not recorded as confirmed raids, but they do count toward the session total used to calculate probabilities. --- **Settings** **Range Extension / Raid Levels** *(shared across all ranges)* - **Level Start (pts)** — distance in points of the first level beyond the range high/low. This becomes the first line on the chart and the first row in the table. - **Level Step (pts)** — distance between each subsequent level. With Start=20 and Step=10, levels are at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70pts. - **Level 1–6** — enable/disable individual levels. Disabling a level removes both the chart line and the corresponding table row. **Range 1 / 2 / 3 Settings** *(per range)* - **Session** — the time window in NY timezone (e.g. `0200-0215` for 2:00–2:15am ET). The range high and low are built from the wicks during this window. - **Show Range Extension Lines** — toggle the projection lines on/off for this range - **Show Range Box** — toggle the session range box on/off - **Box colour** — colour of the range box (also tints the table title row for this range) - **Line colour / Line style** — appearance of the projection lines **Range 1 / 2 / 3 — Raid Detection** *(per range)* - **Min Raid Size (pts)** — minimum distance price must wick beyond the range before a touch is registered. Filters out minor noise near the range boundary. Set this to match a reasonable minimum for the volatility of the session you are analysing. - **Cutoff (mins after range close)** — how many minutes after the session closes the indicator will continue watching for raids. Set to 0 to watch indefinitely until the next session start. A cutoff line is drawn on the chart when this window expires. **Raid Statistics — Table** - **Position** — where the table appears on the chart - **Text Size** — size of table text - **Show All 3 Panels** — when on, all three range panels are shown side by side. When off, only the most recently active range is shown. - **Max Historical Sessions** — caps the number of sessions used to build the statistics. Higher values give more statistically robust numbers; lower values weight recent history more heavily. **Cutoff Line Display** - **Cutoff Label Size / Colour** — appearance of the "R1 cutoff" label drawn on the chart - **Cutoff Line Colour / Style** — appearance of the vertical dashed line drawn when the cutoff window expires --- **Usage Notes** - The indicator works on any **intraday timeframe**. The statistics accumulate over the chart history loaded by TradingView — longer histories and lower timeframes generally produce more sessions and more reliable probabilities. For sessions shorter than 30 minutes, a 1–5 minute chart is recommended. - The session times are evaluated in the **America/New_York timezone** regardless of your chart's timezone setting. - Statistics reset if you change the session times or the level configuration, as the historical data will no longer match the current settings. - For futures markets with overnight sessions (e.g. NQ, ES), set the session window to match the specific range period you want to analyse — for example the London open range, the Asia session high/low, or the NY open range. - The **minimum raid size** should be calibrated to the instrument's typical noise level near range boundaries. Too low a value will register false touches on every minor wick; too high will miss genuine raids. How to Read the Probability Numbers When London session closes, two horizontal lines appear — one above (London High) and one below (London Low) — each labeled with a percentage like 81.1% or 74.9%. These numbers answer: "Historically, how often does price return to sweep this level after London closes?" For example, if you see 81.1% on the high line, it means: in roughly 8 out of 10 historical sessions matching this pattern, price eventually traded back up to or through the London High What happens when a level is hit? Daily Bias | Flux ChartsGENERAL OVERVIEW Daily Bias is a session-based bias tool built to help traders understand whether the current session is more likely to be bullish, bearish, or neutral. It tracks the key liquidity levels from the Asia, London, and New York sessions, along with important higher-timeframe levels like the previous 1-hour, 4-hour, and daily highs and lows. It then watches for sweeps of those levels, checks whether price rejects them or keeps moving, reads what the previous session likely did, and uses a simple lower-timeframe structure to confirm direction. All of that is combined into one clear dashboard, so instead of only showing a bullish or bearish bias, the indicator also shows why that bias is being given. The main idea behind this indicator is that one session often sets up the next one. Price will often run above a known high or below a known low to take liquidity first. After that, the important question is whether the price keeps going, or rejects that move and turns back. That reaction gives a clue about the likely direction of the next session. For example, if the previous session trades above a key high but then falls back below it, that shows rejection from the highs and can suggest bearish pressure for the current session. If the previous session trades below a key low but then climbs back above it, that shows rejection from the lows and can suggest bullish pressure for the current session. This indicator reads that behavior automatically by looking at what the previous session did around important liquidity levels. It also keeps an eye on major intraday reference points like the previous 1-hour high and low, 4-hour high and low, and previous day high and low, because price often reacts around those areas. Then it checks whether the market is starting to confirm that idea on lower timeframes. After that, everything is brought together into one final bias: bullish, bearish, or neutral. The dashboard does not just show the bias — it also shows the reasoning behind it, so traders can quickly understand why the indicator is leaning in a certain direction. A session is a fixed time window within the trading day during which a major financial center is most active. The Asia session corresponds to the Tokyo trading window, London corresponds to the European morning, and NY corresponds to the US morning. Each session tends to deliver a characteristic style of price action, and the highs and lows formed inside them often act as draws on liquidity for the next session. 🔹 How the Indicator Tracks Sessions The Daily Bias indicator tracks three key trading sessions and maps out each one directly on the chart with its own colored range, session high and low, and session label. By default, the sessions are based on the New York time zone: Asia: 20:00 – 22:00 London: 02:00 – 04:00 New York: 10:00 – 12:00 As soon as a session begins, the indicator starts building that session’s range in real time. It expands the zone as price moves and keeps updating the session high and session low until the session closes. Once the session is complete, the final high, low, open, and close of that session are saved and used later by the bias logic. This matters because the completed session range becomes an important liquidity reference for the sessions that follow. In other words, the indicator is not just drawing session boxes for visuals, it is using those completed session highs and lows as part of the read on where price may want to trade next. These session drawings only appear on intraday charts and are automatically hidden on daily and higher timeframes. Once a session ends, its high and low are extended forward as horizontal lines until replaced by the next instance of that same session. A higher-timeframe high or low is the extreme price reached during the most recently completed candle on a higher timeframe. These levels are visible on every higher timeframe chart, which makes them natural locations for stop-loss orders and pending breakout orders to accumulate. 🔹 How the Indicator Tracks HTF Liquidity The indicator tracks three higher-timeframe liquidity sources: the previous 1-Hour high and low, the previous 4-Hour high and low, and the previous Day high and low. When a new higher-timeframe candle begins, the previous candle's final high and low are archived and drawn as horizontal lines on the chart. These levels remain visible until replaced by the next completed candle and are also used by the bias engine to classify session profiles. When two or more sources fall on the exact same price, the text is automatically merged with an ampersand (for example, "1H & 4H High") so the label shows at a glance how many sources align there. When Sweep Markers is enabled, a small red diamond appears above any candle that sweeps a high-side liquidity level, and a small green diamond appears below any candle that sweeps a low-side level. When Historical Levels is enabled, older lines from previous sessions and previous higher-timeframe candles remain visible on the chart, anchored at their original times. Up to 60 historical lines per side per source are kept on the chart at once. When the limit is exceeded, the oldest line is automatically deleted. SCREENSHOT: chart with Historical Levels enabled showing older session and HTF lines 🔹 Customization Options Show / Hide toggle (off by default) SESSION PROFILE CLASSIFICATION 🔹 The Four Profiles Once a session ends, the indicator examines how the session interacted with all tracked liquidity sources and assigns one of four profiles: ◇ Consolidation: the session did not clearly sweep any tracked liquidity level ◇ Manipulation (Sweep Only): the session swept one side of liquidity but did not close back through it ◇ Reversal: the session swept one side of liquidity and closed back through it in the opposite direction ◇ Complex: the session swept both high-side and low-side liquidity, making direction unreliable SCREENSHOT: example of a Bullish Reversal session that swept a low and closed back above it SCREENSHOT: example of a Complex session that swept both highs and lows 🔹 How the Indicator Classifies Sessions At the close of each session, the indicator checks whether the session high exceeded any tracked high-side liquidity level and whether the session low exceeded any tracked low-side level. If both sides were swept, the profile is Complex. If neither side was swept, the profile is Consolidation. If only one side was swept, the indicator then checks whether the session close ended back inside the range — if yes, the profile is Reversal; if no, the profile is Manipulation. 🔹 Profile Direction and Color Coding Each profile carries an associated direction and color in the dashboard: ◇ Consolidation: Neutral (gray) ◇ Manipulation: Neutral, leaning bullish or bearish (orange) ◇ Bullish Reversal: Bullish (lime) ◇ Bearish Reversal: Bearish (red) ◇ Complex: Neutral (yellow) LOWER TIMEFRAME STRUCTURE CONFIRMATION 🔹 What Is Structure Confirmation? Structure confirmation is a check against the previous 5-minute and 15-minute highs and lows. The current bar's close must trade above one of those previous highs to qualify as bullish-confirmed, or below one of those previous lows to qualify as bearish-confirmed. 🔹 How the Indicator Uses Structure Confirmation When Use 5m/15m Confirmation is enabled (default on), the bias engine requires the structure check to agree with the expected direction before assigning Bullish or Bearish to the Final Bias. If structure is not yet confirmed, the bias remains Neutral and the dashboard reason explains that the engine is waiting for confirmation. When disabled, the bias engine assigns direction purely from the session profile and current liquidity events. The dashboard 5m/15m Structure cell displays one of four states: Bullish, Bearish, Not Confirmed, or Off. FINAL BIAS ENGINE 🔹 How the Engine Decides Direction The Final Bias is the indicator's primary output. It combines the previous session's profile, the current session's live liquidity activity, and (optionally) the lower-timeframe structure confirmation into a single directional decision. The decision logic is rule-based and depends on the previous session's profile. ◇ If the previous session was Consolidation: the engine waits for the current session to perform its own manipulation and reversal. If the Current Status shows a remembered Bullish Reversal and structure agrees, the Final Bias becomes Bullish. The bearish case is symmetric. ◇ If the previous session was Manipulation (Sweep Only): the engine waits for the current session to confirm the reversal the previous session left incomplete. ◇ If the previous session was Reversal: the engine expects continuation in the same direction. ◇ If the previous session was Complex: the engine refuses to assign a directional bias. The Final Bias is Neutral. ◇ If no session is currently active: the Final Bias is Neutral with reason "No active session." 🔹 Final Bias Output The Final Bias is displayed in the dashboard as Bullish (lime), Bearish (red), or Neutral (gray). Every bias decision is paired with a Reason line that explains the exact rule that produced the current value. The dashboard is divided into four sections: a header, Session Context, Bias Engine, and Reason. Every cell that contains a value also includes a tooltip that explains what the value means and why it currently shows what it does. 🔹 Session Context Current Session: the session price is trading in right now (Asia, London, NY, or None) Previous Session: the session that immediately preceded the current one Current Status: the most recent remembered liquidity event from any tracked source, updated every time a sweep or reversal occurs, and remembered until a newer same-source event replaces it 🔹 Bias Engine Previous Profile: the classification of the previous session (Consolidation, Manipulation, Reversal, or Complex) Previous Direction: the directional takeaway from the previous session profile Expected Now: what the engine expects from the current session based on the previous session's profile 5m/15m Structure: the current structural state from the lower-timeframe confirmation system Final Bias: the engine's current directional decision 🔹 Reason The bottom row displays the exact reason behind the current Final Bias in plain English. This text changes dynamically as the engine state changes. 🔹 Tooltips Every cell has its own tooltip that explains both what the field means in general and why the current value is what it is. For example, hovering over Previous Profile when the value is Bullish Reversal reveals: "Previous Profile means the profile of the previous session, which is NY. It is Bullish Reversal because that session swept low-side liquidity at PD Low and then closed back above it." This makes the dashboard fully self-documenting. 🔹 Customization Options Show / Hide Dashboard toggle Text size (Tiny, Small, Normal, Large) IMPORTANT NOTES The Daily Bias indicator is designed to run on intraday timeframes. Session tracking is automatically disabled on Daily, Weekly, and Monthly charts. The indicator uses the America/New_York time zone for all session calculations. The 5m/15m structure confirmation reads only closed previous candles and produces no future-looking data. The bias engine is intentionally session-anchored — outside of the three tracked sessions, the Final Bias remains Neutral with reason "No active session." UNIQUENESS The Daily Bias indicator focuses on session-anchored directional bias by combining session profile classification, live liquidity event tracking, and lower-timeframe structure confirmation into a single transparent system. Unlike indicators that only display levels or only show signals, every decision the engine makes is exposed on the dashboard along with a plain-English Reason line and detailed tooltips on every cell. The session profile system classifies each completed session into one of four distinct states by examining how it interacted with three higher-timeframe liquidity sources and two cross-session sources at once. The Current Status system remembers the most recent valid liquidity event across all six tracked sources. The bias engine combines profile, expected behavior, current status, and structure into a single directional decision that is fully traceable from cell to cell.
