[UPRIGHT Trading] Awesome MACD+ (cc)Hello Traders,
I'd like to introduce you all to the Awesome MACD+ indicator.
As most of you know, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence, MACD, indicator is a one of the most popular indicator among traders. The MACD is a trend-momentum indicator that measures the relationship between moving averages and uses a signal line to show crossovers between the MACD line. The signal line is generally used as a trigger for buy/sell signals with a cross of the MACD line or confirmation when used with other strategies. More advanced traders will look for divergences; divergences can, for example, indicate a weakness in the current trend.
How the Awesome MACD+ is different:
This MACD uses several complex equations and filters to improve accuracy.
Multiple extremely accurate Buy/Sell signals not found on a traditional MACD indicator.
Ability to use 2 different background highlight signals and several different buy/sell signals.
Fully customizable (as always), ability to turn on or off any signals, change any of the colors to suit your needs.
***I've used Bitcoin in the chart above just to show that it is still extremely accurate using alt-coins as well.
On AAPL
Advanced algo trend filtering
Easy to read signals for every level of trader.
..Can work for the minimalist.
..Those that want every signal.
..Those that like a balance of signals.
Whatever your style or skill level, the Awesome MACD+ can be customized to fit your needs.
The above chart should look like this:
Good luck Traders.
Cheers,
Mike

Intro
Had to re-release due to moderation.
This happens to be my first open source indicator, hope you all enjoy it!
Description
This indicated is ported from November 2019 issue of TASC. “The Stochastic MACD Oscillator” in this issue, author Vitali Apirine introduces a new indicator created by combining the stochastic oscillator and the MACD . He describes the new indicator as a momentum oscillator and explains that it allows the trader to define overbought and oversold levels similar to the classic stochastic but based on the MACD .
Options
-You can enable bar coloration for trade state (signal conditions setup in the "long" and "short" variables).
-You can choose histogram or columns for the convergence/divergence display.
-You can turn on/off and adjust the overbought / oversold zones.
-You can choose what type of moving average to use in the calculation from a small selection of options. This gives you more flexibility to adapt the indicator to your needs.
👍 We hope you enjoyed this indicator and find it useful! We post free crypto analysis, strategies and indicators regularly. This is our 70th script on Tradingview!

Advanced MACDThis is a more advanced version of the standard moving average convergence/divergence indicator (MACD). It allows you to change the type of all moving averages (Simple, Exponential, Weighted, Volume-weighted, Triple EMA or a moving average that uses RSI). By for example setting the period to 3/10/16 and use simple moving averages instead of exponential moving averages you can turn it into the modified version of the MACD oscillator (mMACD) described in detail in Appendix B in the book "The Art and Science of Technical Analysis: Market Structure, Price Action and Trading Strategies" by Adam Grimes.
The indicator also allows you to volume weight the indicator (turned on by default), which will turn it into a Volume-Weighted Moving Average Convergence Divergence (VW-MACD) first used by Buff Pelz Dormeier in 2002 and described in detail in his book "Investing with Volume Analysis: Identify, Follow, and Profit from Trends". If you want to weight the oscillator against the true range instead of volume this is also possible. By default, this will be done automatically for assets that do not support volume.
