The indicator's strength lies in the unique SMC Core algorithm, a calculation based on real price action data, capturing every tick from small intraday fluctuations to significant high timeframe movements.
algoat SMC Core is our continually evolving, specialized structure mapping algorithm, serving as the backbone of our price action related publications.
⭐ Key Features
Swing Market Structure: Change of Character, Break of Structure
Recognize and visualize real-time market structures with swing elements. Identify and mark key structural changes in the market to visually highlight shifts in market trends and patterns. This feature is designed to alert you to significant changes in the market's behavior, signaling a potential shift from accumulation to distribution phases, or vice versa. It helps traders adapt their strategies based on evolving market dynamics.
Order Flow: Structure Fractal
Connect the successive structural high and low levels, visualizing the intricate flow of market movements. This feature highlights fractal structures within the market, enabling traders to detect significant price action patterns.
Structure Range: Determine Discount, Premium, and Equilibrium Zones
This feature provides a unique way of visualizing price areas where a security could be overbought or oversold (premium or discount zones) and where the price is expected to be fair and balanced (equilibrium zone). Distance from the current price is displayed in percentage terms, which can assist traders with crucial data for risk management and strategic planning. The Range function helps you identify the most favorable price zones for entries and set your stop-loss and take-profit levels more accurately.
Liquidity Grabs: Reveal Hidden Manipulation Attempts
Identify uncovered market areas where high liquidity trading may take place. Liquidity Grabs help track "smart money" footprints by identifying levels where large institutional traders may have induced liquidity traps. Understanding these traps can aid in avoiding false market moves and optimizing trade entries.
Institutional Interest Zones: Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps
Uncover areas where bigger orders may be lined up. Reveal zones of interest ordered by volume strength. Receive warnings about market price imbalances.
▸ Order Blocks pinpoint crucial zones where large institutional investors ("smart money") have shown strong buying or selling interest recently. These blocks can serve as a tool for identifying key areas for potential trade entries or exits.
▸ Fair Value Gaps detect discrepancies between the perceived market value and the actual market price, revealing potential areas for price correction. With its mitigation settings, you can fine-tune the FVG detection according to the magnitude of value misalignment you consider significant.
Mitigation types dictate how price interacts with a zone, with order blocks requiring a close through (indicating stronger price movement) and fair value gaps requiring a wick through (hinting at weak rejection).

⭐ Why SMC?
In the ever-evolving trading landscape, mainstream methods and strategies can quickly become outdated as they are widely adopted. Liquidity is constantly sought after, and the best source for this is exploring and exploiting trading strategies that are widely accepted and applied. Currently, one of these strategies is the SMC (Supply, Demand, and Price Action).
It's no coincidence that our educational materials incorporate concepts such as liquidity grabs (LG) and Smart Money Traps (SMT). As the application of SMC gains popularity among retail traders, trading with this approach becomes more challenging. Therefore, the recent focus has been on reforming the SMC methodology, as it is the only method that relies on real price movements and will always work when applied correctly.
The indicator reflects our personal use and deep comprehension of Smart Money Concepts. It provides streamlined tools for tracking algorithmic trends with modern visualizations, without unnecessary clutter.
▸ What does the proper application of SMC entail?
Many SMC traders associate their key areas of interest with the market structure, which is generally considered acceptable. However, depending solely on a single foundation can lead to significant deviations, which may cause notable impacts on trading results. Moreover, if the basis for the market structure calculation is inaccurate, the consequences can be even more severe. It's akin to risking money on a lottery ticket, believing it will be a winner.
Our methodology is different, and it may ensure longevity in the financial markets. The structure remains crucial, but it is not the sole foundation of everything; instead, it serves as a validation tool. Each calculation, such as order blocks (OB), Fair Value Gaps (FVG), liquidity grabs (LG), range analysis, and more, is independent and unique, separate from the structure. However, validation must ultimately come from the structure itself.
We employ individual and high-quality filters: before a function calculation is validated by the structure, it must undergo rigorous testing based on its own set of validation conditions. This approach aims to enhance robustness and accuracy, providing traders with a reliable framework for making informed trading decisions.
▸ An example of structure validation: Order Block with "Swing Sensitivity"
These order blocks will only be displayed and utilized by the script if there is a swing structure validation with a valid break. In other words, the presence of a confirmed swing Change of Character (ChoCh) or Break of Structure (BoS) is essential for the Order Block to be considered valid and relevant.
This approach ensures that the order blocks are aligned with the overall market structure and are not based on isolated or unreliable price movements. Whether it's Fair Value Gaps (FVG), Liquidity Grabs (LG), Range calculations, or other functionalities, the same underlying principle holds true. The background structure calculation serves as a validation mechanism for the data and insights generated by these functions, ensuring they adhere to the specific criteria and rules established within our methodology. By incorporating this robust validation process, traders can have confidence in the reliability and accuracy of the information provided by the indicator, allowing them to make informed trading decisions based on validated data and analysis.

👉 Usage - the general approach
Determine your trading style and build your basic strategy:
The indicator helps you understand your trading style, whether it's swing trading, scalping or another approach. By analyzing the SMC indicator, you gain valuable information about potential market trends, entry and exit points, and overall market sentiment.
Steps:
Identify Trading Style: Determine whether you are a swing trader, scalper, or long-term investor. This will influence how you use the indicator.
Analyze Market Trends: Use the SMC indicator to observe market trends and identify potential entry and exit points.
Adapt Strategies: Adjust your strategies based on the market dynamics revealed by the SMC indicator, such as changes in order flow or market structure.
👉 Example of usage
In the following chart, you'll notice how we've utilized the indicator to formulate a strategic trading approach. We've employed Order Blocks equipped with volume parameters to identify crucial market zones. Simultaneously, we've leveraged swing/internal market structures to gain insights into potential long- and short-term market turnarounds. Lastly, we've examined trend line liquidity zones to pinpoint probable impulses and breakouts within ongoing trends.
Now we can see how the price descended to the order block with the highest volume, which we had previously marked as our point of interest for an entry. As the price closed below the median Order Block, we noted its mitigation. After an internal CHoCH, it's directing us towards the main Order Block as a target.

RunRox - Advanced SMCIntroducing Our Advanced SMC Indicator: Elevate Your Smart Money Concept Trading
We are excited to present our innovative indicator designed specifically for the Smart Money Concept (SMC) strategy. Our approach goes beyond the traditional SMC strategy, bringing significant enhancements to help you achieve better trading results.
We employ a more sophisticated SMC structure incorporating IDM, precise retracements, extreme and local order blocks. This allows for a deeper understanding of market trends and insights into the manipulations of major market players.
What is IDM?
IDM, or Institutional Distribution Model, is a refined concept within SMC that focuses on understanding how institutional players distribute their positions within the market. By analyzing IDM, traders can better predict market movements and potential points of reversal, giving them a significant edge.
What is a Precise Retracement?
A precise retracement, according to our methodology, involves a proper candlestick pattern. If candles do not exceed the highs and lows of the previous candle, they are considered internal and are not counted in the market structure. A correct retracement occurs when candles break beyond the boundaries of the preceding candle
4 Types of Order Blocks
Our concept now includes four types of order blocks: CHoCH, IDM, Local, and BOS order blocks. Below, we will discuss the differences:
CHoCH OB - These are order blocks located closest to the Change of Character (CHoCH).
IDM OB - These order blocks are positioned next after the Institutional Distribution Model (IDM).
Local OB - These blocks are either within the IDM range or in areas that do not fit any specific criteria. We refer to these as local order blocks.
BOS OB - These blocks are located closest to the Break of Structure (BOS) line.
Understanding the distinctions between these order blocks and the market context is key to effectively utilizing them for successful trading.
By incorporating these advanced features, our SMC indicator provides a powerful tool for traders looking to enhance their trading strategies and achieve more consistent results.
Here are the main principles and differences in our strategy. We will discuss all the features and capabilities of our indicator in more detail below.
🟠 Example of Our Structure
Now we will demonstrate several examples of our structure to give you a better understanding of how our indicator works
As you can see in the screenshot above, we have three main components of our structure
CHoCH (Change of Character): Price breaks a higher low (in an uptrend) or lower low (in a downtrend) directly after sweeping the recent pivot high or low.
BOS (Break of Structure): Price breaks a higher high (in an uptrend) or a lower low (in a downtrend).
IDM (Institutional Distribution Model): This represents liquidity that the market seeks to capture. The market moves to take out liquidity pockets before reversing in the intended direction.
This example demonstrates our entire structure, how it is built, and the core principles embedded within it. We have also highlighted the points used to form our structure. It's important to note that in the structure with IDM, the CHoCH is dynamic and moves closer to the IDM each time we break the BOS. This makes our structure more dynamic and sets us apart from the classic Smart Money strategy.
Additionally, I would like to show an example of how to work with order blocks in the Smart Money concept with IDM.
As you can see, some order blocks are considered traps for traders in this concept and are a constant problem in the classic structure.
The real market structure is much more complex than beginner traders perceive in the Smart Money concept. If a structural low is broken, the price can still continue its upward movement, updating the structural high because the nearest valid retracement update is merely a liquidity grab, which we refer to as IDM.
Therefore, it is common to observe in a downtrend that the price may break a high, leading Smart Money traders to believe that the price has reversed and the structure has changed (CHoCH), while in reality, the price continues its downward movement.
Inducement in trading is related to the collection of liquidity. Essentially, it is the liquidity created to make retail traders commit errors. IDM is often associated with the crowd's money, waiting for positions to be closed, such as stop-losses, limit orders, stop orders, and so on.
Now that I have explained the basics of our concept, let's move on to the functions of our indicator and trading examples.

Let me describe some of the indicator's features
You can set the candles to be colored according to the trend. In some situations, this is very convenient. For example, when the structure becomes quite large, it helps to easily see the current trend without having to refer back to the beginning of the structure.
You can select any date and time as the starting point for the analysis. This unique feature allows you to test any of your market hypotheses at any given moment. I believe this will be beneficial for every trader using the Smart Money Concept.
Sometimes larger structures emerge, and in such cases, it will be convenient to trade based on the internal structure. All dotted lines represent the internal structure, which differs from the external one. This feature is particularly helpful when trading in volatile markets.
In the image, you can see all the types of order blocks we identify:
CHoCH OB - Order blocks located closest to the Change of Character (CHoCH).
IDM OB - Order blocks that follow the Institutional Distribution Model (IDM).
Local OB - These blocks are either within the IDM range or in areas that do not fit any specific criteria. We refer to these as local order blocks.
BOS OB - Order blocks located closest to the Break of Structure (BOS) line.
Additionally, you may encounter mixed order blocks on the chart. In situations where IDM and CHoCH are close to each other, you will see IDM + CHoCH blocks.
Outside the main structure, we mark previous blocks with the label Old , such as Old CHoCH OB and other variations.
We also annotate the volume in all order blocks, showing the traded volume within the candle range near the formation of the order block. This can help you assess the strength of the order block on the chart.
It's important to note that an order block does not necessarily have to be at the peak of a price retracement. For a valid order block to form, several criteria must be met simultaneously. One criterion, for example, is the presence of an FVG along with the order block, among other parameters. Therefore, our order blocks may not always be at the highest points on the chart, but prices often react to our order blocks before reaching the previous high. This is a crucial point to understand.
🟠 Usage Examples
As seen in the example, we broke the structure (CHoCH), transitioning into a downtrend. Now, our points of interest are in the upper blocks. As you remember, IDM acts as a trap for traders, so we focus on the order blocks beyond the IDM. In our case, these are the IDM OB and CHoCH OB. These two order blocks will be our points of interest, depending on the reaction to each of them
As you can see, we broke through the IDM OB rapidly without any significant reaction and reached our second point of interest. This becomes our entry point as we got a reaction from this block. In this scenario, our target will be to break the BOS structure and confirm the downtrend.
Let me provide another example of using the indicator for trend trading.
In this case, we observe a CHoCH break and a trend shift to bullish. Following this, we see an upward movement until the formation of our IDM and a liquidity grab from the high. After this, we can look for our point of interest at the lower boundary.
Additionally, our zone of interest can be an order block from a higher timeframe. In this example, it is a 4-hour order block. Remember, we are currently on the 1-hour timeframe and using the indicator to display order blocks from the higher timeframe.
After descending into our zone of interest, we could consider buying in this zone. Our target could either be breaking the BOS as confirmation of the bullish structure or a reaction to the order block from a higher timeframe.
We've provided two examples of using the indicator, but in reality, there are countless variations, and each trader will find a way to incorporate the indicator into their strategy. While our indicator can be a standalone tool for forming a trading strategy, it offers immense flexibility and adaptability to suit individual trading styles.

FVG Breakaway/3rd Candle (Arjo) [MK]Simple script to identify FVGs (Fair Value Gaps) on the current chart timeframe. The script differs from other FVG indicators on the Tradingview platform by using Arjos 3rd candle rule to identify which gaps are 'Breakway Gaps' and which Gaps are likely to be returned to.
NOTE: As with all 'trading rules' this theory is not 100% accurate.
default settings:
Breakaway Gaps = YELLOW
Gaps that price may return to = GREEN
Mitigated Gaps = 100% TRANSPARENT
What is a FVG:
A FVG is a price area defined by a 3 candle pattern. For a bullish FVG, the low of the 3rd candle must be higher than the high of the 1st candle. This then leaves an area that is drawn as in the example below:
A bearish FVG is defined by the high of the 3rd candle being lower than the low of the 1st candle, as shown in the example below:
FVGs can act like magnets where price will either retrace to or reach for, therefore they can be used as entry points and also for take profit target levels.
If for example, a trader would like to use an FVG for an entry, it would be useful to know which FVGs are more likely for price to re-enter and which FVG will be left un-touched. FVGs that are likely to be left un-touched by price are called 'Breakaway Gaps'.
How do we define a 'Breakaway Gap':
First we identify FVGs using the rules stated above, then we look to see where the 3rd candle closed in relation to the 2nd candle. For a bullish 'Breakaway Gap' we want to see the 3rd candle close above the high of the 2nd candle. An example of a bullish Breakaway Gap is shown in the example below:
A bearish 'Breakaway Gap' is defined by the close of the 3rd candle being lower than the low of the 2nd candle. An example is shown below:
How do we define an FVG that price may return to:
Any gap that does not meet the above rules for a 'Breakway Gap' is therefore considered an FVG that price may return to. So for a bullish FVG that price may return to we would look to see if the close of the 3rd candle is above the high of the 2nd candle. If it is not above the high of the 2nd candle then it more likely that price will retrace into the FVG before continuing higher. An example is shown below:
A bearish gap that price may return to is defined by the close of the 3rd candle not being lower than the low of the 2nd candle. An example is shown below:
The indicator is based on the teachings of 'Arjo'. Note: breakaway gaps will only remain 'breakaway' until a liquidity level is reached. Breakaways therefore do not remain 'breakaway' forever. Users of the indicators must fully comprehend this theory before using the indicator with live markets.
Users of the script should be fully aware of this concept and also have conducted thorough backtesting using a large data set before using this indicator with live accounts.
FVG Positioning Average [LuxAlgo]The FVG Positioning Average indicator aims to uncover potential price levels of interest by averaging together recent Fair Value Gap (FVG) initiation levels.
This indicator is grounded in the theory that significant buying or selling activity is the primary catalyst for creating FVGs.
By averaging together the prices where each FVG initiated, we may potentially reveal where major participants are positioned.
🔶 USAGE
By analyzing the average price of bullish or bearish FVGs, users can identify potential support or resistance areas where the larger participants may re-enter or defend their positions.
These areas could be used to adjust entries and exits or assist with risk management such as take-profit or stop-loss levels.
The indicator displays 2 lines, the Bull Average and the Bear Average.
The Bull Average is only displayed when the price holds above the bull Average.
The Bear Average is only displayed when the price holds below the bear average.
When only one average is displayed alone, this level is seen as support or resistance, it is anticipated that this level would be defended for the current trend to stay valid.
When both averages are displayed simultaneously, it can be interpreted as one side attempting to take over the trend.
The movements and reactions during these attempts can be analyzed to provide helpful information about where the price might be headed.
Possible outcomes:
Trend Confirmation/Re-Entry (From Weak Attempts)
Trend Reversal (Creating Support or Resistance)
Consolidation (Oscillating between/around Bull & Bear Averages)
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 Lookback Types
This indicator includes 2 lookback types:
Bar Count: Uses Bars to determine what data to include. This type can be utilized for averages that are more locally relevant to the current chart data.
FVG Count: Uses a specific # of FVGs for calculations. This type can be utilized for a continuous & consistent view, typically relevant with longer term analysis.
Note: When using bar lookback, if no data is in range, no lines will be displayed.
Below is an example of the 'FVG Count' Display.
🔹 Initiation Levels
Initiation Levels are the specific price points where each FVG starts, these are the last points the price was traded at before creating the gap.
Bull Initiation Level: Lowest Point (Bottom) of FVG
Bear Initiation Level: Highest Point (Top) of FVG
🔹 FVG Display
Each FVG being used for the current calculation of averages is displayed on the chart for reference.
Note: If you prefer to not display the FVGs, they can be toggled off in the settings, uncheck "Show FVGs on Chart".
🔶 Settings
FVG Lookback: As mentioned above in the 'Lookback Types', this sets the number of FVGs or Bars to use for consideration.
Lookback Type: As also mentioned above in 'Lookback Types', this determines the method of lookback to be used.
ATR Multiplier: The FVGs are required to have a Greater Width than (ATR * Multiplier) in order to be used for calculations. This allows you to focus on the data being considered if needed.

🔔 Alerts: Set up alerts to notify you when new gaps are detected, ensuring you never miss out on potential trades!
🛠 How It Works:
The Volumetric Fair Value Gaps (VFVG) indicator identifies significant price gaps that are not just based on price action but are also substantiated by volume, which are often overlooked in typical analyses. It operates by comparing the current candle’s price range against historical averages and is calculated over a user-defined period, displayed with volume for further insights. For a gap to be recognized as significant (either bullish or bearish), it must exceed a certain size relative to these averages, which can be adjusted for sensitivity using the provided settings. Bullish gaps are identified when the current low is higher than the second previous high after surpassing the threshold, and bearish gaps are marked when the current high is below the second previous low, similarly surpassing the threshold. This dual-confirmation (volume and price deviation) approach minimizes false signals and enhances the reliability of identified gaps.
Maximize your trading strategy with the VFVG Indicator by AlgoAlpha and turn those gaps into opportunities! 🌈✨
Fair Value Gaps (FVG) [UAlgo]A fair value gap is especially popular among price action traders and occurs when there are inefficiencies or imbalances in the market, or when the buying and selling are not equal. Fair value gaps can become a magnet for the price before continuing in the same direction.
🔶 Key Features :
Fair Value Gap Identification:
Bullish fair value gaps occur when the current market price exceeds the previous high. The indicator identifies bullish gaps by comparing the low of the current candle with the high of the candle two candles ago . If the low of the current candle is higher than the high two candles ago and the closing price of the previous candle is also higher than the high two candles ago, a bullish fair value gap is detected.
Bearish fair value gaps occur when the current market price falls below the previous low. The indicator identifies bearish gaps by comparing the high of the current candle with the low of the candle two candles ago. If the high of the current candle is lower than the low two periods ago and the closing price of the previous candle is also lower than the low two candles ago, a bearish fair value gap is detected.
Fair Value Gap Filter :
ATR measures market volatility by analyzing the range of price movements over a specified period. It provides insights into the average price range that a security experiences within a given timeframe. After the ATR is calculated, a Simple Moving Average (SMA) is computed for the ATR values. This moving average smoothens out the ATR data, providing a clearer indication of the average volatility levels over time.
When the filter is active, fair value gaps are identified only if they occur during periods of relatively higher volatility, as indicated by the ATR being greater than the SMA. This helps in refining and obtaining the detection of stronger fair value gaps
An example with FVG filtering off:
An example with FVG filtering on:
Customizable Settings: Users have the flexibility to customize various parameters to suit their trading preferences. They can adjust settings such as the number of fair value gaps displayed, mitigation method (either based on closing prices or wicks), and apply filters based on Average True Range (ATR) to refine gap detection.
🔶 Disclaimer :
Use with Caution: Trading involves significant risk, and this indicator should be used with caution. While it can help identify potential trading opportunities, it does not guarantee profits and may sometimes provide false signals.
Not Financial Advice: The information provided by the Fair Value Gaps indicator is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered as financial advice. Traders should conduct their own research and consult with financial professionals before making any trading decisions.
Past Performance: Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical price movements analyzed by the indicator may not accurately predict future market behavior.

📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
1. Order Blocks
Order blocks occur when there is a high amount of market orders exist on a price range. It is possible to find order blocks using specific formations on the chart.
The high & low volume of order blocks should be taken into consideration while determining their strengths. The determination of the high & low volume of order blocks are similar to FVGs, in a bullish order block, the high volume is the last 2 bars' total volume, while the low volume is the oldest bar's volume. In a bearish order block scenario, the low volume becomes the last 2 bars' total volume.
2. Breaker Blocks
Breaker blocks form when an order block fails, or "breaks". It is often associated with market going in the opposite direction of the broken order block, and they can be spotted by following order blocks and finding the point they get broken, i.e. price goes below a bullish order block.
The volume of a breaker block is simply the total volume of the bar that the original order block is broken. Often the higher the breaking bar's volume, the stronger the breaker block is.
The strength of Order & Breaker Blocks are calculated by the size of the block to the Average True Range (ATR) of the chart.
3. Fair Value Gaps
Fair value gaps often occur when there is an imbalance in the market, and can be spotted with a specific formation on the chart.
The volume when the FVG occurs plays an important role when determining the strength of it, so we've placed two bars on the FVG zone, indicating the high & low volumes of the FVG. The high volume is the total volume of the last two bars on a bullish FVG, while the low volume is - of the FVG. For a bearish FVG, the total volume of the last two bars is the low volume. The indicator can also detect FVGs that exist in other timeframes than the current chart.
4. Inversion Fair Value Gaps
A Fair Value Gap generally occur when there is an imbalance in the market. They can be detected by specific formations within the chart. An Inverse Fair Value Gap is when a FVG becomes invalidated, thus reversing the direction of the FVG.
IFVGs get consumed when a Close / Wick enters the IFVG zone. Check this example:
5. Market Structures
Sometimes specific market structures form and break as the market fills buy & sell orders. Formed Change of Character (CHoCH) and Break of Structure (BOS) often mean that market will change direction, and they can be spotted by inspecting low & high pivot points of the chart.
The number of times the chart recently had a BOS is displayed between brackets, Ex : (3)
6. Liquidity Zones
Buyside & Sellside Liquidity zones are where most traders place their take-profits and stop-losses in their long / short positions. They are spotted by using high & low pivot points on the chart.
7. Liquidity Grabs
Liquidity grabs occur when one of the latest pivots has a false breakout. Then, if the wick to body ratio of the bar is higher than 0.5 (can be changed from the settings) a liquidity grab has occurred.
8. Premium & Discount Zones
The premium zone is a zone that is over the fair value of the asset's price, and the discount zone is the opposite. They are formed by the latest high & low pivot points.
If the latest close price is outside the Premium or Discount zone, you will see "Premium ⬆️" or "Discount ⬇️". These mean that the price is currently higher than the premium zone or lower than the discount zone.

Special Extreme Alert!
By analyzing the trends and dimensions, we are able to predict market extremes conditions, especially in pump and dump scenarios. (the bullish or bearish P/D extreme alerts).
Market flip arrow
The arrows trigger to indicate when the market flips to bullish (green) or bearish (red) conditions. note that this arrow is just a market flip confirmation and it it triggered by market trends, it does not come one time and sometimes later after market trigger conditions had been met.
circled in white.
Buy or sell potential {The tiny yelow(sell) and blue(buy) triangle}
By analyzing market extreme conditions, market sentiment, and liquidity, the buy/sell potential alert trigger is able to determine the state of the market, This can and should be used in combination with the market flip line (MFL) [the yellow line from , market flip trigger (MFT) (purple line), and market support/resistance line (MSR)(blue line) .
Market flip Line (Blue line) (MFL): the MFL is useful to also understand the market phase; a candle close above the MFL is bullish, while a candle close Below, the MFL is bearish. You are, however, expected to experience market retests and rejections coupled with support and resistance to follow through with the predicted direction. Patience is a valuable virtue in trading.
Extended sell or buy hunt (Red and Green Triangle)
this is real-time triangles indicator just like every other indicator on theis chart that indicates the market direction labeled with buy and sell. Note that the market-extended extreme can occur multiple times in the same direction. Hence, we'll advise having multiple trade entries.
The flip support line
Market Flip Trigger Line (MFTL) (Magenta): When the market crosses and closes below or above the Market Flip Trigger Line, you should wait for a confirmation. a confirmation is usually a retest or rejection of the line. A candle close and reject indicates the market as flip direction and it is going for a correction or major reversal. it is applicable on all timeframe.
As mentioned earlier, if you understand market structure and sentiment, using the uFVG, iFVG, upLQTY, downLQTY and BOS will be easy. however, this is how it works, you may need tohave and expanded readbout market structure for additional knowledge.
upLQTY (Bullish liquidity inducement)
The indicator appear at the close and confirmation on the 3rd candle and it is extended to only appear on 200 bars applicable on all timeframes.
This is a bullish sentiment and liquidty inducement order block that occurs, leading to the break of trend structure and change of character. Meaning the market sentiment as change which is backed up by liquidity in that region, which mostly gets filled, especially on lower timeframes before the price action continues. If price revese breaks and hold above this region, it invalidates the order block. This will always appear when there is a confirmed change of character CHoCH to the bullish side.
downLQTY (Bearish liquidity inducement) The indicator appear at the close and confirmation on the 3rd candle and it is extended to only appear on 200 bars applicable on all timeframes. It is and inverse of the upLQTY.
like order block, these are supply and demand zones that has the potential to change the direction of a trade. This is a bearish order block that occurs, leading to the break of structure and change of character. Meaning there is bearish liquidity yet to be accounted for in the region, which mostly gets filled, especially on lower timeframes before the price action continues. If broken, it invalidates the order block. This will always appear when there is a confirmed change of character from CHoCH to the bearish side.
Fair Value Gap
From general knowledge, FVG also know as Fair value gaps are inbalnace created by a 3 candlestick pattern where the top of the bottom candles doesn't cross the bottom of the top candle. like order block, these are supply and demand zones that has the potential to change the direction of a trade. This mostly indicate the presense of big plays in the market. for STIC indicator, FVG are labeled as listed below;
UFVG, also FVGup, {Colour green box} = bullish imbalance fair value gap
IFVG, aka FVGdown, {Red box} = bearish imbalance fair value gap
OIFVG, {Yellow box, no label} = other imbalances fair value gab
You should not that FG has upper, lower and middle band, any of the this area can be induced and filled by price.
Alert Conditions!
Buy alert conditions
- Any bullish buy alert
- Bullish hunt
- Re-entry Buy
- Sharp Market Sell rejection
- Buy potential
- upLQTY
Long position Exit conditions
- ExtremeB
- Profit
- Sell hunt
The Entry, exit and trail profit alert trigger should be used as position exit conditions either for a Long (Buy) or Short (Sell) situation and should be set as OPB (Once Per Bar). Using it as entry for exit or vice versa as shown not to be very profitable. hence the need to combine with other order entry alerts like the Any bullish or Bearish alerts
Sell alert conditions ( NOTE: All Sell alert are not yet included in this current version as this is targeted towards bullrun.)
- Sell potential
- Sell triangle (Sell hunt)
- downLQTY
and any trail profit alert, this alert put into consideration all the conditions required to trail profit.
Risk management advice
Patience and a good risk management strategy are required to be profitable trader using this tool. You need to ensure not to overleverage, and you should have multiple entries in case the buy coditions/alert shows again below the previous buy alert before a sell condition/alert occurs.
HTF FVG and Wick Fill trackingImbalances in the charts are some of the clearest and most traded price areas. Two of the best and most used are fair value gaps FVGs and large candle wicks. In both of these price appears to move in such a way that most are left behind having 'missed' the move. But in reality price will often come back to these price points to re-balance and absorb the liquidity that was left behind.
This indicator takes these areas and makes viewing and tracking them clearer than ever. It does this, by first allowing the user to overlay a higher timeframe candle on the current chart. This in itself provides an in depth look at a higher timeframe candle both as it forms and in its final form.
Next the indicator identifies either the FVG or large wicks, on the chosen higher timeframe, all while the chart remains on a lower timeframe. As seen here the fair value gaps are clearly highlighted, taken from a 4 hour timeframe, while the actual chart is on 15 minutes. This allows the user even greater accuracy in identifying their key trading areas.
Utilizing the indicators unique feature, these areas can optionally be extended forward to the current timeframe and 'filled' in realtime. Areas that are filled to the users defined level, will be removed from the chart.
With supplementary settings for how much history to show, how large of a wick should be highlighted and complete control over the colour scheme, users will be able to track and understand the filling of imbalances like never before.
Market Structure (Range) & Internal Liquidity
This indicator will simplify the price-action reading of any trader/investor by decluttering his/her charts from un-important & confusing candles to highlight the true momentum candles which are usually formed by institutional buying/selling .
The indicator will be a good tool in the arsenal of the following styles of Trading/Investing
Smart Money / Liquidity Concepts
Price Action Concepts
Demand & Supply Concepts
Support & Resistance Concepts
UNIQUE FEATURES:
1. Market Structure - Range & Internal Liquidity:
Unlike other liquidity indicators, this indicator only highlights liquidity levels of significant importance. Not every intermediate high & low in a chart are worthy of noticing, hence by enabling the 'Swings' & 'Range (BoS)' feature in the indicator settings, the structure highs and lows (external liquidity) in a chart can be identified.
Any other liquidity levels within a market range (Range between structural High & Low) is known as internal liquidity which price targets to collect enough orders before heading towards the external liquidity levels.
2. Gaps (Fair Value Gaps / Imbalance):
Not every imbalance / gap between candles are important & trade-worthy. This feature of the indicator is different from the other widely available imbalance indicators & only highlights gaps formed by true momentum candles. Gaps between unimportant inside bars are not highlighted, as these bars occur in the absence of momentum.
3. True Price Action:
Looking at the two charts below, we can clearly observe the difference between price action of a confusing normal chart & the simplified price action highlighted by the indicator. This feature declutters the charts by only highlighting the candles a trader / investor should notice in a chart.
This feature when used in confluence with the liquidity levels feature & gap feature of the indicator, helps identify the true demand & supply zones (order blocks) in a chart.
Before
After
4. Zig Zag Lines:
This unique feature which is useful to Identify & Backtest different entry types taught by Smart Money Traders . This feature helps the trader understand the True Fractal Nature of price. This can also be seen as an alternate to the default line chart feature.
Examples of Entry Types taken by Smart Money Traders
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
(These features are essential addons to trade liquidity. However, these are derived from publicly available indicators from the Tradingview library, but with a different interpretation for a better visualization of charts & or to time better trade entries without cluttering the charts)
a. Inside Bar & Outside Bars:
Identify not just a single Inside Bar as highlighted by other indicators, but to highlight a series of candles which are within a master candle range and are exhibiting unimportant sideways price action.
Outside Bars only relevant to momentum candles are highlighted, ignoring candles that occur within a master candle range. Highs & Lows of such Outside Bars are used by aggressive traders to identify liquidity levels in the charts.
b. Highs & Lows of previous Monthly / Weekly / Daily & Hourly Candles:
This feature draws Highs & Lows of previous Monthly / Weekly / Daily & Hourly Candles on the extreme right hand side of the chart to keep the charts clean.
Additionally for Hourly time frame, the indicator includes a setting to select the hourly candle time frame (60 min / 75 min / 240 min), which are personal and different for each trader.
UNDERLYING CONCEPT:
In the image below we see how a large majority of Traders / Investors incorrectly mark Structure markings, mistaking a raid of internal liquidity as a Break of Structure, thereby taking trades opposite to the broader trend of the markets
However, this indicator has a higher accuracy of identifying the correct price structure by only marking a structure high or low, when a subsequently opposite side liquidity is taken/raided. Further the broader trend of the markets can be easily identified by looking as to which side the Break of Structure has happened. (This is visible in the indicator in the form of 'Range' feature, so if a Range High is broken then it is understood to be in an uptrend & vice versa)
The underlying core functionality of the indicator is best displayed by the image below
USECASE OF THE INDICATOR:
Before taking any Buying/Selling position in the markets, a Trader / Investor must analyze the price action on the following parameters
HTF & LTF Trend Identification (To judge if trade is Pro-Trend or Counter-Trend)
Is Price at a High Probability Area of Interest?
Is Price satisfying the trade entry conditions?
Let us see how this indicator can be used as a complete trading system in itself and addresses each of the above parameters
Disclaimer: Illustrations shown below are just for understanding the features of the indicator & does not guarantee profitability. Every trader must back test their setups to arrive at a setup with an edge (positive expectancy) before they start actively trading the setup.
1. HTF & LTF Trend Identification (Pro-Trend / Counter-Trend) using 'Range (BoS)' feature of the indicator
Let's assume a Day Trader, uses hourly chart (75 min) to frame his Higher Time Frame (HTF) ideas & 15min charts (LTF) for trade entries
Looking at the chart below the Trader concludes that the HTF has most recently broken the structure to the downside and is considered Bearish till price action is below the range high of 48600 levels. It can also be concluded that the price is currently in a Bullish retracement.
The Trader can choose to take both Pro-Trend or Counter-Trend Trades, timing the trade entries using the LTF charts.
Looking at the LTF chart below, it is evident that price on LTF has also broken structure to the downside and is now aligned with the HTF Bearish Trend. The Trader will now look to get into short trades, to take trades both in line with HTF & LTF trend.
2. Let's identify if Price is at a High Probability Area of Interest, using either single or combination of the 'Swings' / 'Gaps' / 'Outside Bars' / 'HL of previous M,W,D, H candles' features of the indicator
Definition of High Probability Level / Area differs from each Traders perspective depending upon which of the Trading Styles (mentioned in the beginning) does one use.
Smart Money Traders
SMC Traders are known to get into trades early and their high R:R trades are taken mostly at a High Probability Area of Interest which are identified by them on HTF, by looking for candles with imbalance (gaps) & or candles which have taken out a previous liquidity and then having creating imbalance (gaps).
Also Turtle Soups is one of the favorite setups for SMC traders, where a trader enters a trade on LTF (typically 1 min/3min & 5min) after grabbing HTF liquidity lying at H/L of outside bar / previous monthly, weekly, daily or hourly candles.
Demand & Supply Traders
Some of the Best Demand & Supply Traders have the patience to wait for trades and take trades at the extreme Demand & Supply Zones within a market Range.
As illustrated below, the extreme hourly supply zone just below the structure high, which has the confluence of imbalance and Bearish HTF confirmation resulted in a good R:R trade.
Price Action Traders & Support & Resistance Traders
From the illustration below we can see how the 15 min Range breakdown confirms the breakdown of the Inverted Cup Pattern for Price Action Traders & Support & Resistance Traders using the same area of breakdown as the new Resistance to enter Short trades
3. Let's identify if Price is satisfying the Trade Entry Conditions using the 'Zig-Zag Lines' feature
Statistics say that majority (> 80%) of Traders blow up their accounts multiple times or completely give up and never achieve profitability.
One of the primary reasons for this is Traders punching trades randomly and without having proper Setup or rules for entering Trades.
Also in order to arrive at rules or execute the different entry models (couple of examples highlighted earlier) taught by different Trainers, a Trader needs to learn to visualize charts in a similar format to what the trainers are teaching.
The Zig-Zag lines feature is a form of line chart that joins the swing high points to the swing low points on the chart to represent the True Price action & a proper fractal nature of the markets, unlike the line chart which is formed by only by joining the closing value of each candle.
From the image below we can see that the Zig-Zag lines feature eliminates the randomness visible in the line chart and is a more smoother chart. Using this feature one can back test the various entry models widely available on the internet or arrive at a user specific model which he/she is comfortable with.
CONCLUSION:
Trading with a deeper understanding of Price Action allows a Trader/Investor to enter or exit trades with ease. Price Action trading allows individuals to keep their charts clean and stay away from the other lagging technical indicators and enter trades much earlier than other technical indicators.
This indicator attempts in simplifying the understanding of price action for every one and identify potential high probability areas / levels where one should enter / exit trades.
This indicator will be an important tool in the arsenal of any Trader / Investor to take better informed trades, however it does not guarantee profitability of a Trader, due to the randomness of the markets & external factors that influence each trader.

Fair Value Gaps Mitigation Oscillator [LuxAlgo]The Fair Value Gaps Mitigation Oscillator is an oscillator based on the traditional Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) imbalances. The oscillator displays the current total un-mitigated values for the number of FVGs chosen by the user.
The indicator also displays each New FVG as a bar representing the current ratio of the New FVG in relation to the current un-mitigated total for its direction.
🔶 USAGE
When an FVG forms, it is often interpreted as strong market sentiment in the direction of the gap. For example, an upward FVG during an uptrend is typically seen as a confirmation of the strength and continuation of the trend, as it indicates that buyers are willing to purchase at higher prices without much resistance, suggesting strong demand and positive sentiment.
By analyzing the mitigation (or lack thereof), we can visualize the increase of directional strength in a trend. This is where the proposed oscillator is useful.
🔶 DETAILS
The oscillator's values are expressed as Percentages (%). Each FVG is allocated 100% of the total of its width with a max potential value of 100 and minimum potential value of 0.
Based on the "FVG Lookback" Input, the FVGs are scaled to fit within the range of +1 to -1. Using a higher "FVG Lookback" value will allow you to get indications of longer-term trends.
A higher value of the normalized bullish FVG areas suggest a stronger and cleaner uptrend, while lower values of the bearish the normalized bullish FVG areas suggest a stronger and cleaner downtrend.
+1 or -1 indicates that there is a Full Lookback of FVGs, and each one is fully un-mitigated, and the opposite direction of FVGs is entirely Mitigated.
When the price closes over/under or within an FVG it begins to get mitigated, when this happens the % of mitigation is subtracted from the total.
When a New FVG is formed, a Histogram bar is created representing the ratio of the current FVG's width to the total width off all un-mitigated FVGs.
The entire bar represents 100% of total un-mitigated FVG Width.
The filled area represents the current FVG's width relative to the whole.
A 50% hash mark is also displayed for reference.
🔶 SETTINGS
FVG Lookback - Determines the number of FVGs (Bullish and Bearish Pairs) to keep in memory for analysis.

📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
A Fair Value Gap generally occur when there is an imbalance in the market. They can be detected by specific formations within the chart. This screener then finds Fair Value Gaps accross 5 different tickers, and shows the latest information about them.
Status ->
Far -> The current price is far away from the FVG.
Approaching ⬆️/⬇️ -> The current price is approaching the FVG, and the direction it's approaching from.
Inside -> The price is currently inside the FVG.
Retests -> Retest means the price tried to invalidate the FVG, but failed to do so. Here you can see how many times the price retested the FVG.
Consumed -> FVGs get consumed when a Close / Wick enters the FVG zone. For example, if the price hits the middle of the FVG zone, the zone is considered 50% consumed.
Bullish / Bearish Volume -> Bullish & Bearish volume of a FVG is calculated by analyzing the bars that formed it. For example in a bullish FVG, the bullish volume is the total volume of the first 2 bars forming the FVG, and the bearish volume is the volume of the 3rd bar that forms it.
🚩UNIQUENESS
This screener can detect latest Fair Value Gaps and give information about them for up to 5 tickers. This saves the user time by showing them all in a dashboard at the same time. The screener also uniquely shows information about the number of retests and the consumed percent of the FVG, as well as it's bullish & bearish volume. By combining these components, the ICT Killzones Toolkit provides traders with a comprehensive framework for analyzing the market and identifying setups of interest. Leveraging these tools effectively can enhance traders' decision-making process and improve killzones interpretability.
🔶 USAGE
In forex/futures trading, timing is crucial. ICT Killzone are specific periods when there's a higher chance of finding setups of interest. Mastering these time intervals can offer significant advantages to traders who know how to use them effectively.
The image above highlights a potential setup of interest when using the ICT Killzones Toolkit.
As another example for utilizing the ICT Killzones Toolkit, we can see in the image above when price retests setups generated from killzones such as Order Blocks or Fair Value Gaps, a potential strategy could be to look for entries on those & take profits as the next killzone appears.
🔹 Order Blocks
Order Blocks are sections on a price chart where notable buying or selling activity has occured, often signaling interest zones for institutional traders. This toolkit's Order Blocks component pinpoints these areas within the Killzone, which may act as potential support or resistance levels.
🔹 Breaker Blocks
Breaker Blocks are zones built from mitigated order blocks, and highlight zones on the chart where price has previously stalled or reversed. These areas may act as significant barriers to price movement in the future, and the Breaker Blocks component helps traders identify them for potential trading opportunities.
🔹 Fair Value Gaps
Fair value gaps are especially favored by price action traders and arise from market inefficiencies or imbalances, typically when buying and selling are unequal. These gaps often attract price movement before resuming in the same direction. the Fair Value Gaps component of the toolkit helps traders identify and analyze them.
🔹 Market Structure Shifts
Market Structure Shifts refer to significant changes in the overall structure of the market, such as shifts in trend direction, volatility, or trading activity. These shifts can provide valuable insights into market sentiment and potential trading opportunities, and the Market Structure Shifts component helps traders identify and interpret them.

Show Historic Zones -> If this option is on, the indicator will render invalidated IFVG zones as well as current IFVG zones. For a cleaner look at current IFVG zones which are not invalidated yet, you can turn this option off.
2. Fibonacci Retracement Levels
You can enable / disable up to 3 different Fibonnaci Retracement levels at this group of settings. You can also switch their line styles between solid, dashed and dotted as well as changing their colors.
FVG Detector LibraryLibrary "FVG Detector Library"
🔵 Introduction
To save time and improve accuracy in your scripts for identifying Fair Value Gaps (FVGs), you can utilize this library. Apart from detecting and plotting FVGs, one of the most significant advantages of this script is the ability to filter FVGs, which you'll learn more about below. Additionally, the plotting of each FVG continues until either a new FVG occurs or the current FVG is mitigated.
🔵 Definition
Fair Value Gap (FVG) refers to a situation where three consecutive candlesticks do not overlap. Based on this definition, the minimum conditions for detecting a fair gap in the ascending scenario are that the minimum price of the last candlestick should be greater than the maximum price of the third candlestick, and in the descending scenario, the maximum price of the last candlestick should be smaller than the minimum price of the third candlestick.
If the filter is turned off, all FVGs that meet at least the minimum conditions are identified. This mode is simplistic and results in a high number of identified FVGs.
If the filter is turned on, you have four options to filter FVGs :
1. Very Aggressive : In addition to the initial condition, another condition is added. For ascending FVGs, the maximum price of the last candlestick should be greater than the maximum price of the middle candlestick. Similarly, for descending FVGs, the minimum price of the last candlestick should be smaller than the minimum price of the middle candlestick. In this mode, a very small number of FVGs are eliminated.
2. Aggressive : In addition to the conditions of the Very Aggressive mode, in this mode, the size of the middle candlestick should not be small. This mode eliminates more FVGs compared to the Very Aggressive mode.
3. Defensive : In addition to the conditions of the Very Aggressive mode, in this mode, the size of the middle candlestick should be relatively large, and most of it should consist of the body. Also, for identifying ascending FVGs, the second and third candlesticks must be positive, and for identifying descending FVGs, the second and third candlesticks must be negative. In this mode, a significant number of FVGs are eliminated, and the remaining FVGs have a decent quality.
4. Very Defensive : In addition to the conditions of the Defensive mode, the first and third candlesticks should not resemble very small-bodied doji candlesticks. In this mode, the majority of FVGs are filtered out, and the remaining ones are of higher quality.
By default, we recommend using the Defensive mode.
🔵 How to Use
🟣 Parameters
To utilize this library, you need to provide four input parameters to the function.
"FVGFilter" determines whether you wish to apply a filter on FVGs or not. The possible inputs for this parameter are "On" and "Off", provided as strings.
"FVGFilterType" determines the type of filter to be applied to the found FVGs. These filters include four modes: "Very Defensive", "Defensive", "Aggressive", and "Very Aggressive", respectively exhibiting decreasing sensitivity and indicating a higher number of Fair Value Gaps (FVG).
The parameter "ShowDeFVG" is a Boolean value defined as either "true" or "false". If this value is "true", FVGs are shown during the Bullish Trend; however, if it is "false", they are not displayed.
The parameter "ShowSuFVG" is a Boolean value defined as either "true" or "false". If this value is "true", FVGs are displayed during the Bearish Trend; however, if it is "false", they are not displayed.
FVGDetector(FVGFilter, FVGFilterType, ShowDeFVG, ShowSuFVG)
Parameters:
FVGFilter (string)
FVGFilterType (string)
ShowDeFVG (bool)
ShowSuFVG (bool)
🟣 Import Library
You can use the "FVG Detector" library in your script using the following expression:
import TFlab/FVGDetectorLibrary/1 as FVG
🟣 Input Parameters
The descriptions related to the input parameters were provided in the "Parameter" section. In this section, for your convenience, the code related to the inputs is also included, and you can copy and paste it into your script.
PFVGFilter = input.string('On', 'FVG Filter', )
PFVGFilterType = input.string('Defensive', 'FVG Filter Type', )
PShowDeFVG = input.bool(true, ' Show Demand FVG')
PShowSuFVG = input.bool(true, ' Show Supply FVG')
🟣 Call Function
You can copy the following code into your script to call the FVG function. This code is based on the naming conventions provided in the "Input Parameter" section, so if you want to use exactly this code, you should have similar parameter names or have copied the "Input Parameter" values.
FVG.FVGDetector(PFVGFilter, PFVGFilterType, PShowDeFVG, PShowSuFVG)
FVG Detector [TradingFinder] Fair Value Gap-Imbalance-Mitigated🔵 Introduction
When the market makes a strong move in the form of a "Marubozu" or "Spike" candlestick and consecutive candles move without a retracement, the maximum place where a "FVG" or "Fair Value Gap" is created.
🔵 Definition
To describe this precisely, whenever a move occurs where the current candle does not cover the body of the previous and subsequent candles, a fair value gap is created.
Important : The significant point is that, because there is no equilibrium between buyers and sellers in these conditions, and market power is in the hands of buyers or sellers, the market is likely to move towards these areas.
An example of "FVG" in a price increase where we expect buying on the return to it.
An example of "FVG" in a downward trend where the market will move towards it in a downward direction.
🔵 How to Use
🟣 Bearish FVG
In a downward trend, "orange boxes" are drawn, which are the same and can act as "support" zones along the downward path, and we expect the price to continue its downward trend on return.
🟣 Bullish FVG
In an upward trend, "green boxes" are drawn, which are . They act exactly like support in the upward path, and we expect the price to continue its upward trend on return.
🟣 Auxiliary Definitions
Imbalance : As mentioned above, market power is in the hands of one of the two sides, buyers or sellers, and a non-equilibrium zone is created. It may be completed in whole or in part in subsequent price movements.
Mitigated : If the price returns to the "FVG" area and fills it, we call it "Mitigated," and most "pending" or "profit and loss limits" positions are executed. We will not have a specific reaction on the return of the price.
🔵 Settings
Very Aggressive : In addition to the initial condition, another condition is added. For an upward FVG, the maximum price of the last candle should be larger than the middle candle's maximum price. Similarly, for a downward FVG, the minimum price of the last candle should be smaller than the middle candle's minimum price. In this mode, a very small number of FVGs are eliminated.
Aggressive : In addition to the conditions of the Very Aggressive mode, in this mode, the size of the middle candle should not be small. In this mode, a larger number of FVGs are eliminated.
Defensive : In addition to the conditions of the Very Aggressive mode, in this mode, the size of the middle candle should be relatively large, and the majority of it should be made up of the body. Additionally, to identify upward FVGs, the second and third candles must be positive, and to identify downward FVGs, the second and third candles must be negative. In this mode, a large number of FVGs are eliminated, leaving only those with suitable quality.
Very Defensive : In addition to the conditions of the Defensive mode, the first and third candles should not be very small-bodied doji candles. In this mode, the majority of FVGs are filtered out, leaving only the highest quality ones.
🔵 Features
Show Demand FVG : Displays demand-related boxes, which can be "off" and "on."
Show Supply FVG : Displays supply-related boxes along the path, and can be turned "off" and "on."
🔵 Indicator Advantages
In this indicator, I have implemented 4 types of "filters" that allow you to select one based on the trading symbol, timeframe, etc. From "Very Aggressive" to "Very Defensive" mode, it is possible to select.
In most indicators, all FVGs are displayed, and the chart becomes full of lines. But this unique feature allows the trader to manage the drawing of boxes.
Inversion Fair Value Gap Consumption | Flux Charts💎 GENERAL OVERVIEW
Introducing our new Inversion Fair Value Gap Consumption (IFVG) indicator! Inversion Fair Value Gaps occur when a Fair Value Gap becomes invalidated. They reverse the role of the original Fair Value Gap, making a bullish zone bearish and vice versa. IFVGs get "consumed" when market orders fill the gap occurred. With this indicator, you can now see the percentage of the IFVG's consumed part. For more information about the process, read the "HOW DOES IT WORK" section of the description.
Features of the new Consumption IFVG Indicator :
Render Bullish / Bearish IFVG Zones
See The Consumed Part Of The IFVG Zones
Combination Of Overlapping FVG Zones
Variety Of Zone Detection / Sensitivity / Filtering / Invalidation Settings
High Customizability
🚩UNIQUENESS
This indicator stands out with its ability to render the consumed part of IFVGs. You can see how much of the IFVG's gap is filled, with it's percentage. Also the ability to combine overlapping FVG zones will result in cleaner charts for traders. You can customize the FVG Filtering method, FVG & IFVG Zone Invalidation, Detection Sensitivity etc. according to your needs to get the best performance from the indicator.
📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
A Fair Value Gap generally occur when there is an imbalance in the market. They can be detected by specific formations within the chart. An Inversion Fair Value Gap is when a FVG becomes invalidated, thus reversing the direction of the FVG.
IFVGs get consumed when a Close / Wick enters the IFVG zone. Check this example:
⚙️SETTINGS
1. General Configuration
FVG Zone Invalidation -> Select between Wick & Close price for FVG Zone Invalidation.
IFVG Zone Invalidation -> Select between Wick & Close price for IFVG Zone Invalidation. This setting also switches the type for IFVG consumption.
Zone Filtering -> With "Average Range" selected, algorithm will find FVG zones in comparison with average range of last bars in the chart. With the "Volume Threshold" option, you may select a Volume Threshold % to spot FVGs with a larger total volume than average.
FVG Detection -> With the "Same Type" option, all 3 bars that formed the FVG should be the same type. (Bullish / Bearish). If the "All" option is selected, bar types may vary between Bullish / Bearish.
Detection Sensitivity -> You may select between Low, Normal or High FVG detection sensitivity. This will essentially determine the size of the spotted FVGs, with lower sensitivies resulting in spotting bigger FVGs, and higher sensitivies resulting in spotting all sizes of FVGs.
Show Historic Zones -> If this option is on, the indicator will render invalidated IFVG zones as well as current IFVG zones. For a cleaner look at current IFVG zones which are not invalidated yet, you can turn this option off.
Inversion Fair Value Gaps (IFVG) [LuxAlgo]The Inversion Fair Value Gaps (IFVG) indicator is based on the inversion FVG concept by ICT and provides support and resistance zones based on mitigated Fair Value Gaps (FVGs).
🔶 USAGE
Once mitigation of an FVG occurs, we detect the zone as an "Inverted FVG". This would now be looked upon for potential support or resistance.
Mitigation occurs when the price closes above or below the FVG area in the opposite direction of its bias.
Inverted Bullish FVGs Turn into Potential Zones of Resistance.
Inverted Bearish FVGs Turn into Potential Zones of Support.
After the FVG has been mitigated, returning an inversion FVG, a signal is displayed each time the price retests an IFVG zone and breaks below or above (depending on the direction of the FVG).
Keep in mind how IFVGs are calculated and displayed. Once price mitigates an IFVG, all associated graphical elements such as areas, lines, and signals will be deleted.
This indicator is not meant to be just a 'signal indicator'. Backtesting historical signals is incorrect as it does not consider the mitigation of IFVGs, which is a standard method for trading IFVGs & various concepts by ICT.
The signals displayed are meant for real-time analysis of current bars for discretionary analysis. Current confirmed retests of unmitigated IFVGs are still displayed to show which IFVGS have had significant reactions.
🔶 SETTINGS
Show Last: Specifies the number of most recent FVG Inversions to display in Bullish/Bearish pairs, starting at the current and looking back. Max 100 Pairs.
Signal Preference: Allows the user to choose to send signals based on the (Wicks) or (Close) Prices. This can be changed based on user preference.
ATR Multiplier: Filters FVGs based on ATR Width, The script will only detect Inversions that are greater than the ATR * ATR Width.
🔶 ALERTS
This script includes alert options for all signals.
🔹 Bearish Signal
A bearish signal occurs when the price returns to a bearish inversion zone and rejects to the downside.
🔹 Bullish Signal
A bullish signal occurs when the price returns to a bullish inversion zone and bounces out of the top.

Session Sweeps [LuxAlgo]The Session Sweeps indicator combines ICT-based features for a complete trading methodology involving market sessions, market structure, and fair value gaps to find optimal entry conditions for trading price action.
Traders frequently tend to place stop/limit orders at the high and low points of major trading sessions such as Asian (Tokyo), European (London), and North American (New York), resulting in the establishment of liquidity pools at those particular levels. The Session Sweeps indicator is crafted to recognize and underscore occurrences of session sweeps or liquidity sweeps during these major trading sessions.
🔶 USAGE
Default settings utilize major forex trading sessions, yet users can select their preferred opening and closing times, rename the sessions, or adjust the colors. It's important to note that the specified times for each session align with the respective local timezones: Asian (Tokyo) UTC+9, European (London) UTC, and North American (New York) UTC-5.
If the price briefly crosses either the highest or lowest point of a market session. These movements, aiming at triggering stop losses, suggest potential shifts in the market direction. Detecting such movements is the fundamental purpose and core functionality of the script.
🔹Market Structure Shifts
A Market Structure Shift refers to a change in market direction, either from an uptrend to a downtrend or vice versa. A part of a common entry model when using session sweeps is waiting for the formation of a CHoCH after a session sweep.
🔹Fair Value Gaps
A Fair Value Gap (FVG) holds particular appeal for price action traders, emerging when there are inefficiencies or imbalances in the market, often a result of uneven buying and selling activity. The underlying concept of FVGs is that the market tends to revisit these inefficiencies before resuming its trajectory in alignment with the initial impulsive move.
After the formation of a CHoCH traders can enter a position when the price enters the area of a Fair Value Gap (FVG).
🔹Setup Examples
This entry setup is commonly used by ICT traders and is shared for informational & educational purposes only.
Long Positions (5-Minute Timeframe):
Wait for the previous session's low to be swept.
Look for a Bullish Choch.
Find a Bullish FVG formed by or before the Choch.
Entry Point: At the FVG.
Take Profit (TP): At the session high or aim for a 1:2 Risk-Reward Ratio.
Stop Loss (SL): At the session low or nearest Swing Low.
Take partial profits at intermediate swings, but don’t shift SL prematurely.
Short Positions (5-Minute Timeframe):
Wait for the previous session's high to be swept.
Look for a Bearish Choch.
Find a FVG formed by or before the Choch.
Entry Point: At the FVG.
Take Profit (TP): At the previous session's low or aim for a 1:2 RR.
Stop Loss (SL): At the session high or nearest Swing High.
Take partial profits at intermediate swings, but don’t shift SL prematurely.

ICT Unicorn Model [LuxAlgo]The ICT Unicorn Model indicator highlights the presence of "unicorn" patterns on the user's chart which is derived from the lectures of "The Inner Circle Trader" (ICT) .
Detected patterns are followed by targets with a distance controlled by the user.
🔶 USAGE
At its core, the ICT Unicorn Model relies on two popular concepts, Fair Value Gaps and Breaker Blocks. This combination highlights a future area of support/resistance.
A Bullish Unicorn Pattern consists out of:
A Lower Low (LL), followed by a Higher High (HH)
A Fair Value Gap (FVG), overlapping the established Breaker Block
A successful re-test of the FVG which confirms the pattern.
A Bearish Unicorn Pattern consists of:
A Higher High (HH), followed by a Lower Low (LL)
A Fair Value Gap (FVG), overlapping the established Breaker Block
A successful re-test of the FVG which confirms the pattern
The pattern detection depends on detected swings, which can be controlled by the Swing setting. Using higher values of this setting will return longer-term breaker blocks.
🔹 Using Risk/Reward Targets
A confirmed Unicorn pattern will show a blue ( Target ) / grey ( Stop Loss) "Risk/Reward" areas (RR).
When the Stop Loss or Target is hit, a white line is shown on the concerned side.
The Risk/Reward ratio can be adjusted in the "Targets" settings.
🔹 Trailing Stop
As seen in the previous snapshots, besides the RR areas, this indicator also includes an optional Trailing Stop .
This can be helpful to lower your risk, by exiting earlier than if you would wait until the Stop Loss is hit.
This example shows a successful bullish and bearish Unicorn Pattern . In this scenario, the Trailing Stop could be used for partial Take Profit.
The goal of this publication is to show confirmed Unicorn Patterns . To increase the chance of success, it is important to evaluate the bigger picture & use this in confluence with your price action analysis. For example, look for potential areas of liquidity, consider this pattern only during certain market sessions, avoid trading during heavy impact news, &/or incorporate other aspects of technical analysis rather than just following this pattern blindly.
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 Combine
When disabled, all potential Unicorn Patterns will delete previous unconfirmed patterns:
Enabling Combine ensures the last Unicorn Patterns in the opposite direction will remain.
While the latter bullish pattern became invalid, another one formed.
The combination of the previous bearish pattern, and looking at the big picture, the bullish pattern did not have much chance to be successful.
While disabling 'combine' helps minimize clutter, enabling this feature can give a pattern more chance to hit the SL/Target level.
🔹 Mitigated FVG
Users can determine if a pattern becomes invalid due to a mitigated FVG, causing the pattern to be deleted.
🔹 New pattern detected
When a new pattern is detected, the previous unconfirmed pattern in the same direction (bullish - bullish or bearish - bearish) will be deleted. This will always be the case, whether "Combine' is enabled or disabled.
When the previous pattern was confirmed but no SL or Target level was hit, this pattern will stop updating.
🔶 SETTINGS
🔹 Unicorn
Swings: This sets the length of swings, used for the underlying ZigZag and Unicorn Patterns detection.
Bull: Enable/disable Bullish patterns, and set the color of FVG box and Trailing Stop .
Bear: Enable/disable Bearish patterns, and set the color of FVG box and Trailing Stop .
Combine: When enabled, patterns in opposite directions (bullish/bearish) can exist at the same time. disabling this feature tends to give less clutter. See the "Usage" section for more information.
🔹 Targets
Risk/Reward: Sets the Risk/Reward ratio.
Trailing Stop: Set the length of small swings, which is used for the Trailing Stop .
Fair Value Gap Absorption Indicator [LuxAlgo]The Fair Value Gap Absorption Indicator aims to detect fair value gap imbalances and tracks the mitigation status of the detected fair value gap by highlighting the mitigation level till a new fair value gap is detected.
The Fair Value Gap (FVG) is a widely utilized tool among price action traders to detect market inefficiencies or imbalances. These imbalances arise when buying or selling pressure is significant, resulting in a large upward or downward move, leaving behind an imbalance in the market.
🔶 USAGE
A fair value gap appears in a triple-candle pattern when there is a large candle whose previous candle’s high and subsequent candle’s low do not fully overlap the large candle. The space between these wicks is known as the fair value gap.
Price can come back to these imbalance areas and mitigate them, however, this is sometimes a process involving multiple bars, the displayed imbalances by the indicator allow tracking the current mitigation level of a displayed imbalance.
Fair value gaps can become a magnet for the price before continuing in the same direction. Traders commonly wait for the price to revert toward the fair value gap to clear out the imbalance before continuing to move toward the prevailing trend.
🔶 SETTINGS
🔹Fair Value Gaps
Fair Value Gap Width Filter: defines the filtering multiplier, please refer to the tooltip of the input option for further details.
Bullish, Imbalance and Mitigation: color customization option.
Bearish, Imbalance and Mitigation: color customization option.
Display Percentage of Mitigation: Display the percentage of the mitigation areas.
Historical Fair Value Gaps: toggles the visibility of the historical fair value gaps.
🔶 LIMITATIONS
Please note that filtering cannot be applied for the first 144 (atr fixed-length) candles since the atr value won't be present that is used for filtering.
