Rules using ( MACD 12 26 Close 9 ):
Place a SELL signal when :
1. Histogram bar turned RED from GREEN
2. Within the previous group of green histogram bars the maximum value reached/passed +5.5
3. MACD fast & slow have values > 0
Place a BUY signal when :
1. Histogram bar turned GREEN from RED
2. Within the previous group of RED histogram bars has maximum value reached/passed -5.0
3. MACD fast & slow have values < 0
Convergence / Divergence de la moyenne mobile (MACD)
[RS]MACD Divergence V1This oscilator was created by Ricardo Santos using MACD's histogram as the series to find low and high fractals and from there find and plot divergences.
I just modified it a little bit to make it to look more like the MACD public library indicator and use the actual MACD series (instead of the histogram) to find the fractals and from there plot divergences.
I did this to make it easier for me and other fellow students of a Forex school where we use these type of divergences to find patterns.
MACD BeepBoop Indicator
The indicator flags long or blue when the macd histogram value > 0 and above the ema and short or red when the macd histogram value < 0 and below the ema
I have added confirmations in the form of eliminating all bars on the histogram unless they meet the long / short entry conditions two bars in a row
You can customize the length of the ema that determines the long/short entry conditions in the settings
I have also added a yellow highlight to the bar in the chart that you would enter on. You would enter at the open of the bar following the signal bar
Stop Loss would be placed at the nearest pivot point or ATR of your choice
Note - republishing this after taking out original links
MACD Strategy with trailing ATR stopThis is a trend based strategy that uses EMA and SMA intersection for determining the direction of the trend and MACD for the entry signal. At the same time, the strategy uses ATR, which is working as a trailing stop.
The strategy entry will work when the Trend ribbon will turn green and MACD line will crossover the signal line. This strategy also takes into account the pyramiding and allows to enter the second time if the signal will repeat itself.
There are 3 exit points. The first 10% of the position will be closed when the price will increase by 1%. The second portion of 50% will be closed when the price reaches 5% Take profit target. The remaining 40 % of the position will wait for the exit signal which will occur when the price closes below the ATR line.
The strategy is using a fixed amount in dollars, each time the entry occurs the strategy will enter with 100$ in the order.
The strategy can be applied to other crypto assets. However, they will require input changes.
Best of luck with your trading.
Crack_RACD_Divergence_Ver_1.0.1Hello my dear traders. This is Tommy.
This time our team spent so much time and effort developing a technical indicator that catches the trend reversal signal relatively earlier than any other existing indicators.
Two RSIs (which quantify the relative strength of the price momentum using closed price of a candle) with certain parameters that we have found were exponentially smoothed using our very own equations.
We have programmed it to be signaled when golden and death crosses appear above and below certain area that we have concluded it as an overbought and oversold zone.
Similar to MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) trading strategy, the histogram represents the distance between two RSIs.
When the histograms are trending towards the centerline, this means that the RSIs are converging and vice versa when histograms are going away from the centerline.
Moreover, when this logic confirms swing highs/lows using highs and lows of the candles (instead of closed), it automatically shows both the bullish and bearish divergences.
Thank you.

Crypto BOT lower timeframesThis is a crypto bot designed for lower time frames.
Its made of 2 EMA, one fast and one slower . They are combined together with Stochastic, MACD and price action patterns.
For entries we have multiple conditions :
First we check if one of our last 4 closed candles crossed above or below the faster EMA. After that for long, we check that last close is above the fast EMA, that the fast ema is above the slower EMA, at the same time that the histogram from MACD is positive and that we have crossover with the oversold line on stochastic. For the short , the opposite of long.
For exit we have TP/SL mechanic based on price % movement, in this example if the price moved 10% from the initial position it will exit.
G-MACD ColorIt's just MACD and fill the color
How to use
RED : MACD < Signal line and MACD < 0
Blue : MACD > Signal line and MACD < 0
GREEN : MACD > Signal liine and MACD > 0
Yellow : MACD < Signal line and MACD < 0
Goodluck :D
Moving Average EntanglementThis script uses the gap in moving averages standardized to the average true range to determine entry and exit points.
The red line represents the current percentage of ATR that is deemed "The Dead Zone" - a move that is too small to be reliable.
The histogram represents the gap between moving averages. When the histogram is above the red line, it confirms a breakout move.
The dashed line an be used as a secondary filter and is a moving average of the histogram.
When Standard Deviation mode is on, a third line is displayed, which represents how many standard Deviations the current histogram bar represents, and can be also used as a filter.
Reverse MACD IndicatorIntroducing the reverse MACD Indicator.
This is my Pinescript implementation of the reverse MACD indicator.
Much respect to Mr Johnny Dough the original creator of this idea.
Feel free to reuse this script, drop me a note below if you find this useful.
Investopedia defines the MACD as a trend-following momentum indicator that shows the relationship between two moving averages of a security’s price.
The MACD is calculated by subtracting the 26-period Exponential Moving Average ( EMA ) from the 12-period EMA .
The result of that calculation is the MACD line.
A nine-day EMA of the MACD called the "signal line," is then plotted on top of the MACD line, which can function as a trigger for buy and sell signals.
Traders may buy the security when the MACD crosses above its signal line and sell—or short—the security when the MACD crosses below the signal line.
Moving Average Convergence Divergence ( MACD ) indicators can be interpreted in several ways, but the more common methods are crossovers, divergences, and rapid rises/falls.
MACD triggers technical signals when it crosses above (to buy) or below (to sell) its signal line.
The speed of crossovers is also taken as a signal of a market is overbought or oversold.
MACD helps investors understand whether the bullish or bearish movement in the price is strengthening or weakening.
The MACD has a positive value (shown as the red line on the price chart ) whenever the 12-period EMA ( indicated by the blue line on the price chart) is above the 26-period EMA (the red line in the price chart) and a negative value when the 12-period EMA is below the 26-period EMA .
The more distant the MACD is above or below its baseline indicates that the distance between the two EMAs is growing.
The baseline here is the white line.
The Reverse function of the MACD provides value by letting the user know the specific price needed to expect a MACD cross over in the opposite direction.
This function can be used to designate risk parameters for a potential trade if using the MACD as their source of edge, letting the user know exactly where and how much their risk is for a potential trade which can be used to design an effective trading plan.
Trend Thrust Indicator - RafkaThis indicator defines the impact of volume on the volume-weighted moving average, emphasizing trends with greater volume.
What determines a security’s value? Price is the agreement to exchange despite the possible disagreement in value. Price is the conviction, emotion, and volition of investors. It is not a constant but is influenced by information, opinions, and emotions over time. Volume represents this degree of conviction and is the embodiment of information and opinions flowing through investor channels. It is the asymmetry between the volume being forced through supply (offers) and demand (bids) that facilitates price change. Quantifying the extent of asymmetry between price trends and the corresponding volume flows is a primary objective of volume analysis. Volume analysis research reveals that volume often leads price but may also be used to confirm the present price trend.
Trend thrust indicator
The trend thrust indicator (TTI), an enhanced version of the volume-weighted moving average convergence/divergence (VW-Macd) indicator, was introduced in Buff Pelz Dormeier's book 'Investing With Volume Analysis'. The TTI uses a volume multiplier in unique ways to exaggerate the impact of volume on volume-weighted moving averages. Like the VW-Macd, the TTI uses volume-weighted moving averages as opposed to exponential moving averages. Volume-weighted averages weigh closing prices proportionally to the volume traded during each time period, so the TTI gives greater emphasis to those price trends with greater volume and less emphasis to time periods with lighter volume. In the February 2001 issue of Stocks & Commodities, I showed that volume-weighted moving averages (Buff averages, or Vwmas) improve responsiveness while increasing reliability of simple moving averages.
Like the Macd and VW-Macd, the TTI calculates a spread by subtracting the short (fast) average from the long (slow) average. This spread combined with a volume multiplier creates the Buff spread
(VIP) MACD & Stochastic Alignment Oscillator v2Oscillator is combining MACD with Stochastic oscillator. When both, MACD and Stochastic are aligned with direction of trend, it improves probability and strength of such signal. There's possibility to also activate second Stochastic as additional confirmation of the signal. One of winning setup is to keep MACD settings standard - 12,26,9 and both Stochastics with slightly longer settings - 14,7,7 & 21,14,14. Figures at top are displaying trend coming from MACD . Background is coloured when all signals are aligned. Stochastic is generated signal only if it travelled back recently from overbought/oversold zone - this improves reliability of generated signals.
Alerts are included to inform when trend is aligned.
If you're interested in access for oscillator, please DM me on Tradingview.com ;)
REDWOOD MTF MacD Stochastic RSIOne of out most premium indicators is this MTF MacD Stochastic RSI combo.
This is calculated with specific conditions to give the best signals for market reversals or continued trends.
=======
For a detailed description of how the REDWOOD MacD works, see profile (links of personal indicators arent posting for some reason)
For a detailed description of how the REDWOOD Stochastic RSI works, see profile
=======
These are both powerful indicators alone, but together they work very well together to confirm positions or see new entries or exits.
Without giving too much away on how it is made, this takes trades when the MacD is weak, with a confirming signal from the Stoch RSI
just the other way, it takes trades when the MacD is strong, and the Stoch RSI confirms trend.
This was made to reduce clutter of watching multiple indicators, while still giving you a chance to see what both indicators are doing and how they are flowing together.
Custom alerts are set so you never miss a trade opportunity! Get alerted on all reversals, strong signals, or even signals from the MacD or Stochastic RSI crosses!
This is a Multi Timeframe indicator so you can see what is happening on a long term time frame while trading short time frame bars, getting a better position in the market.
Best trades are when the alert or indicator is signaling, and the close of the MacD is about to happen on the MTF time frame set. All timeframes for both MacD and Stoch can be customized, and they do come with default settings.
Best MTF Time frames are longer timeframes (1hr, 4hr, D) but it can work well with current timeframe and lower timeframes (15min, 30min)
All settings for the MacD and Stoch are the same as the original, you can remove the MacD or histogram, remove or see crosses, and even color in pivot points in the MacD
~~~
Added feature is this indicator by default shows the MacD to tell you the overall trend, but you can uncheck the Show MacD setting to remove the MacD and check the Show Stoch RSI to have the indicator show you the Stoch RSI all in the same indicator! This is extremely useful to see where the Stoch RSI is at when the MacD is turning or pivoting. If the stoch is turning as well and overbought or oversold, it is a good time to enter or exit a position.
Dark Green is showing buy signals, and dark maroon is showing sell signals.
The coloring in the background (red, lime) is showing the trend we are riding and when the color goes away it is an indication of a possible trend reversal or dip coming. These are mostly used to confirm positions.
~~~
The timeframes I recommend would be the 4hr on both, althought it has proven to work well (if you want more signals) to have either the MacD or Stoch RSI on a higher timeframe and the opposite on a lower timeframe.
All plots and inputs can be customized to your own liking, and there is the option to color the bars with the Stoch RSI being overbought or oversold.
Best Trading Strategy : Enter positions according to the colors being alerted (green = buy, red = sell) when the FIRST is alerted. This is the ideal and best entry.
For safer trading you can wait for a second to confirm and enter there.
Trades can be taken on the shading colors too, trading on trend waves, although this is risky as some waves end abruptly. Best signals are as stated above.
This indicator works very well on its own but can work well along side our other indicators listed here :
Bishop MA's or MA Cloud with Fill
This can be a very useful indicator, and I'm sure some may find settings that work even better
than the default or recommended settings.
This indicator works on all markets, forex, cryptocurrency, and stocks.

REDWOOD MTF MacD
This MTF MacD is a custom made indicator to show trends and potential trend changes.
As you see the MTF MacD is colored depending on the trend and if MacD is above or below the Signal.
This indicator shows the crossover or crossunder of these plots with the colored circles that
are plotted. This can be a very useful indicator to show you a start of a new trend or a trend that
is weak, giving you ideas of when to take profit or enter a new trade.
For more information on MacD in general (for reference) Please see the detailed
description here : www.investopedia.com
This MacD is a Multi Time frame MacD, meaning it can show you higher or lower timeframes of the MacD no matter what current time frame your chart is on. This is
applied in the settings of the indicator by default, with a default timeframe of 4hr.
You can easily change back to the current time frame by checking the box "Use Current MacD Timeframe?". This can be very useful to get into a trend early, entering or exiting on low time frame bars while seeing the live Long time frame MacD. This can help reassure a position if the asset dips, or see if the asset is having one last push up before the fall.
The inputs of Fast ema, Slow ema, signal length can be customized to your liking.
There are inputs that will remove the MacD & Signal crosses, the histogram, or the MacD in general, there are also inputs you can apply that shows when the macd is changing its trend and pivoting.
For trading with this indicator, it works very well with a indicator confirming the position or potential change that is happening, I recommend the RSI or StochRSI. Specifically, the REDWOOD MTF Stochastic RSI .
When MacD line crosses over the Signal (black) line and is showing the MacD line lime, with the Histogram showing aqua or light blue,
this is when to take a Long or buy position.
When MacD line crosses under the Signal (black) line and is showing the MacD line red, with the Histogram showing red, this is when to take a short or sell position.
To filter out false crosses or trades, this is where I recommend the MTF stoch or RSI, taking trades on the MacD when the Stoch or RSI is showing signs of overbought or oversold areas. These provide the strongest signals and buy and sell positions.
This is recommended as a swing indicator , but can be used for scalping at your own risk.
As for recommended time frames to use for the MTF settings, I would stick to longer timeframes to show the overall trend. With that being said, it can be used on shorter timeframes as well and works good. I would sick to the 1hr or 4hr timeframes, and for lower I recommend the 15min or 30min timeframes.
The lower you go the more signals will be provided, but with that lots more false signals will show as well if the asset is volatile.
All settings, colors, and plots can be customized, and all are labeled to make it easy for you.
Alerts for each setting will be added in the future for simplicity, as of now the alerts can be made as usual, having the indicator plot MacD crossing the indicator plot Signal, telling you of a change in the MacD.
This can be a very useful indicator, and I'm sure some may find settings that work even better than the default or recommended settings.
This indicator works on all markets, forex, cryptocurrency, and stocks.

OsMAOsMA : Oscillator of Moving Averages.
OsMA is a common index because it is a histogram in the middle of MACD.
The histogram in the middle is a little difficult to handle, so I dared to display OsMA like MACD.
The one like MACD is OsMA, and the histogram in the middle is the amount of change in OSMA.
It is an indicator that is characterized by a strong and quick reaction.
Beep Boop(Improved) Beep Boop Indicator for Trending Markets originally written by Trading Rush.
It is originally based on the MACD 12-26 and the 50 bar EMA.
The macd hist is color coded with green as buy and sell as red.
I added an option to use a couple of lower lag ema's (See line 13 - ema_signal).
MACD Trend CandlesThe script combines 2 indicators (MACD and Stoch-RSI) and puts them visually directly on the candles - can be used with normal OHLC candles or Heiken Ashi candles. Furthermore, you can derive divergences exremely easy directly visually from the candles as well. Lastly, a SMA 20 high and a SMA 20 low line build a trend channel.
Script is best used in trending markets to trade with the trend.
1) SMA trend channel:
* uptrend: close above
* downtrend: close below
* aggressive entry (uptrend) closing inside channel from below
* conservative entry (uptrend) closing above channel from inside
* hold (uptrend) until close below channel
* can be used accordingly for the downtrend
2) MACD candles
* visualization of the MACD histogram directly on the candles
* dark blue: histogram > 0 and histogram > histogram of previous candle
* light blue: histogram > 0 and histogram < histogram of previous candle
* orange: histogram < 0 and histogram < histogram of previous candle
* light blue: histogram < 0 and histogram > histogram of previous candle
* hold uptrend (dark/light blue candles) - combined with trend channel (above channel)
* hold downtrend (orange /yellow candles) - combined with trend channel (below channel)
* Color divergence: light blue candle > dark blue candle (price and MACD show divergence (bearish)
* Color divergence: yellow candle < orange candle (price and MACD show divergence (bullish)
* Trend change (0 line cross to upside) yellow or orange to dark blue
* Trend change (0 line cross to downside) dark or light blue to orange
3) Stoch RSI diamonds
* visualization of the STOCH-RSI as diamonds above or below the candle
* k, d line > 80: diamond above the candle
* k, d line < 20: diamond below the candle
* divergence caldle without diamond above > candle with diamond above (bearish divergence)
* divergence caldle without diamond below < candle with diamond below (bullish divergence)
Feel free to test each part individually and combine it with other indicators, e.g. BBands and Ichimoku Cloud - you will see it is a powerful visualization script
HAVE FUN
BTC and ETH Long strategy - version 2I wrote my first article in May 2020. See below
BTC and ETH Long strategy - version1
After 6 months, it is now time to check the result of my script for the last 6 months.
XBTUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +78% in 4 trades
ETHXBT (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +21% in 9 trades
ETHUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +90% in 6 trades
Using the signals from this strategy to trade manually has shown that this was a bit frustrating because of the low rate of winning trades.
If you have to enter 100 trades and see 75% of them failing and 25% winning, this is frustrating. For sure the strategy makes good money but it is difficult to hold this mentality.
So, I have reviewed and modified it to get a higher winning rate.
After few days of work, tests and validation, I managed to get a wining rate close to 60%.
The key element was also to decrease the number of trades by using a higher time frame. (4H candles instead of 2H candles).
- Entry in position is based on
MACD, EMA (20), SMA (100), SMA (200) moving up
AND EMA (20) > SMA (100)
AND SMA (100) > SMA (200)
- Exit the position if: Stoploss is reached OR EMA (20) crossUnder SMA (100)
The goal of this new script is to be able to follow the signals manually and only make few trades per years.
I have also validated it against some other altcoins where some are giving very good results.
Here are some results for 2020 (from 01/01/2020 until now (22/11/2020). Those results are the one I get when using 4H candles.
ETH/USD: +144% in 8 trades.
BTC/USD: +120% in 7 trades.
ETH/BTC: +33% in 9 trades.
ICX/USD: +123% in 10 trades.
LINK/USD: +155% in 11 trades.
MLN/USD: +388% in 8 trades.
ADA/USD: +180% in 7 trades.
LINK/BTC: +97% in 10 trades.
The best is that above results are without considering compound effect. If you re-invest all gains done in each new trade, this will give you the below results :)
ETH/USD: +189% in 8 trades.
BTC/USD: +260% in 7 trades.
ETH/BTC: +29% in 9 trades.
ICX/USD: +112% in 10 trades.
LINK/USD: +222% in 11 trades.
MLN/USD: +793% in 8 trades.
ADA/USD: +319% in 7 trades.
LINK/BTC: +103% in 10 trades.
As you can see, the results are good and the number of trades for 11 months is not big, which allows the trader to place orders manually.
But still, I'm lazy :), so, I have also coded this strategy in HaasScript language which allows you to automate this strategy using the HaasOnline software specialized in automated crypto trading.
I hope that this strategy will give you ideas or will be the starting point for your own strategy.
Let me know if you need more details.
Bjorgum TSI-This script utilizes simple color changes of the TSI output signals to aid in interpretation of the classic TSI indicator.
-Crosses of the TSI value line and signal line are a bullish or bearish indication. TSI value line is colored green or yellow to help identify that the TSI value line is either dropping or rising, while over or under the signal line.
-This can help anticipate a cross, or significant points in the trend. TSI signal line changes color when rising or falling which can help to identify larger prevailing trends.
-Generally, a rising signal line can be an overall bullish move, while falling more bearish regardless of crosses.

1 Parent MACDWhat is Parent MACD ?
Parent MACD is standard MACD indicator with one additional parameter of Parent. Parent MACD is designed so that you should be able to see cyclical behavior of current trend without having to switch to higher timeframe.
Why You Need This Indicator ?
Technical Analysis is defined as Art of Identifying trend in its early stages and riding on that trend until weight of evidence shows or proves the trend has finally reversed.
Technical Trading is literally 2 step process,
STEP 1 Find Direction of Trend
STEP 2 Trade in Direction of Trend
The direction of trend is taken from higher timeframe (aka parent timeframe) than your trading timeframe. The parent timeframe is 4,5 or 6 times of your trading timeframe if noise is less, if noise is extreme 6,7 or 8 is used as parent. Default Parent in this indicator is 5 and can be modified according to need of trader .
This indicator will tell you that parent timeframe is gaining momentum, if parent is gianing momentum most likely the trading time frame will also gain momentum.
How To Use This Indicator
STEP 1: Select The Time Frame You Want To Trade
STEP 2: Add the indicator on Screen
STEP 3:When you see price gaining momentum add a confirmation indicator to take trade.
Personally I use Profit Max indicator by KivancOzbilgi to confirm trade. If you are planning to use it too, don't forget to say thank you to KivancOzbilgi at in.tradingview.com
Practical Application To Trading
The indicator's most practical application is Option Trading and Trading Assets that trade 24 hours a day.
It can also be used to trade all kind of Index Options.
Indian Index Nifty
Indian Financial Index Nifty Bank
Dow Jones Industrial Average
BTC Index
IMPORTANT : The indicator only helps in trading in direction of Trend by identifying is trend regaining momentum after correction, it doesn't help you identify Trend, you have to identify trend.

Nrupen
Amazing strategy for silver -XAGUSD, XAGEUR etcToday I bring an amazing strategy that works for 1h time frames for silver.
Its made of price actions movement combined together with MACD and simple moving average
It does not use neither stop loss/take profit levels. Instead it will always exit at the next candle after it opens a trade.
The rules are the next one :
For short condition : we have a bull candle, and candle is above the moving average, and MACD histogram is > 0 and last high0 and candle close > last high1 and, previus high1 and candle close > last high2
At the same time, viceversa for long condition.
In development terms, this is the formula
long1 = (close > open ) and time_cond and close > out and hist > 0 and hist > hist and high > high and high > high and close > high and close > high and close > high
short1 = (close < open) and time_cond and close < out and hist < 0 and hist < hist and low < low and low < low and close < low and close < low and close < low
But when we enter the trade, we enter in reverse, like lets say we go long -> for this we apply the short1 condition. If we go short we apply the long1 condition.
If you have any questions , please let me know .
Bitcoin (BTC) Scalp / Short-term Short IndicatorThe purpose of this scalping Indicator is to help identifying Sell signals for short term trades on Bitcoin (Spot, Features, etc.) .
This script is working with more indicators and everything is balanced by hard work on (back)testing.
Result for users is a simple signal to SELL.
You can use it as easy indicator in your graph or create alerts.
I have the best results on 1min graph, with leverage and stop-loss feature.
This is my own version of scalping Sell Script / Indicator, which is a combination of few indicators, for example RSI , BB and price levels (actual and average) and works on standard candles.
SELL signal paints above the candle and you can set your target / trailing / stop-loss in the settings and check how it works in Strategy Tester.
Settings of this Indicator:
Take Profit
Stop Loss
Trailing Stop Loss
Trailing Stop Loss Offset
Initial Capital
Base Currency
Order size
Pyramiding
Commissions
Slippage
Average price lines (colors and visibility)
Plot background
These signals can be often observed at the beginning of a strong move, but there is a significant probability that these price levels will be revisited at a later point in time again.
Therefore these are interesting levels to place limit orders.
A Sell signal is defined as the last up candle before a sequence of down candles.
In my trading settings I have more but small positions, one safety limit order (for price averaging = better entry - easier close in profit) and stop-loss.
Sometimes trailing-profit feature have very nice profits.
Settings depends on your own money-management and free capital.
Don't ignore UP / DOWN trend. For UP trend I have an Indicator too (check my profile).
In addition to the upper/lower limits of each line, also average value is marked as this is an interesting area for price interaction and better view.

Strategy MACD Stock by LukasHello guys, long time no update.
This time I make strategy for Stock,
The strategy is for LONG only because where I live I can not Short Stock (Indonesia :) )
Basically I combine MACD, DEMA, RSI and EMA.
I try 1D, 4H, 1H and it's perfect for me, when you play higher timeframe try to turn "ON" "Filter" on the menu setting.
RED GREEN line is represent MACD
YELLOW ORANGE line represent Bull and Bear, useful when you play on high timeframe.
There is also setting for Stop Loss and Take Profit level.
Please give it try and give me some feedback.
Hope its useful,
Stay safe everyone :)
